The Vivo V2603A was approved by China’s CMIIT authority toward the end of July. A few days ago, it also received certification from the 3C authority. Now, according to tipster Anvin on X, the smartphone has appeared on Geekbench giving us a look at its chipset, RAM and Android version.

The Geekbench listing shows that the Vivo V2603A is powered by a MediaTek MT6881 chipset. The processor is paired with a Mali-G625 MC2 GPU and features four CPU cores clocked at 2.0GHz, while the remaining four cores run at 2.60GHz.

Based on these specifications, the phone appears to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 chipset. The Geekbench listing also mentions 12GB of RAM, while the device is shown running Android 16. It is likely that Vivo will offer its OriginOS 6 interface on top of the Android version.

The smartphone’s 3C certification has also revealed its charging capability. The Vivo V2603A could support 44W charging. However, it is still unclear whether the device will launch under the Vivo brand or arrive as an iQOO smartphone.

Recent Vivo and iQOO Phones with Dimensity 7500

The Vivo group currently has two smartphones powered by the Dimensity 7500 chipset. One of them is the Vivo S60 Vitality Edition, also known as the Vivo S60e, which was launched in China earlier this year. And the same chipset is also used in iQOO Z11, which will enter the Indian market on August 20.

The Vivo S60e comes with support for 90W charging, while the fast-charging details of the iQOO Z11 have not been revealed yet. This makes the identity of the V2603A particularly interesting.

As of now, it is not clear if Vivo V2603A will turn out to be a rebranded version of the iQOO Z11 for another market or whether it will be an entirely different smartphone. Anyhow, we can expect more details including the final moniker of the device to surface in the coming days.
