OnePlus will launch a 4G phone next month
exclusive for India

If the information turns out to be accurate, it could be the company’s first 4G smartphone launch in India this year as its other offerings feature 5G and 4G LTE connectivity.
However, OnePlus has not confirmed the existence of the new smartphone, so the leaked information should be treated with caution.
The upcoming smartphone could also take over from the recently launched OnePlus N6x as the company’s next budget-focused smartphone. The OnePlus N6x was launched in India last month at the starting price of Rs 18,999 for the base model of 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
If OnePlus does launch a new 4G smartphone in September, more details about its specifications, pricing and positioning should emerge closer to the official announcement.

Tecno Spark 50C or Spark Go 3 Pro 4G
According to an exclusive report by PassionateGeekz, the Tecno Spark 50C 4G and Spark Go 3 Pro are expected to share the same design and specifications with the branding being the only major difference. Tecno has used a similar rebranding strategy for several smartphones in the past.
The Spark 50 series currently includes the Spark 50 4G, Spark 50 5G and Spark 50 Pro.
The phone is also expected to run Android 16 out of the box, which could make it one of the newer budget smartphones to ship with the latest Android version.

PassionateGeekz, in its exclusive report, has revealed some key details about the upcoming phone. If Tecno follows its existing rebranding approach, the Spark Go 3 Pro could sit above the current Spark Go 3 4G in the company’s budget lineup.

It could continue to offer a 120Hz display and 15W charging, while bringing a larger 6,000mAh battery. The phone is also expected to run Android 16 out of the box, potentially making it a more attractive option in the budget segment.
As of now, the complete specifications of the Tecno Spark 50C 4G and Spark Go 3 Pro are unconfirmed. Tecno has not officially announced either smartphone or revealed its launch timeline.

iQOO is teasing a major display upgrade for the iQOO 16.

iQOO is preparing a significant display upgrade for its next flagship smartphone, the iQOO 16. A company executive has teased the upcoming phone’s display technology and hinted that it could improve significantly compared to its predecessor, the iQOO 15 series. Here’s what we know based on recent update.
iQOO 16 Display Could Improve Brightness and Efficiency
Wang Ken, Product Manager for iQOO’s flagship series, has discussed the importance of display brightness in everyday smartphone use, particularly when viewing the screen under different lighting conditions.
Wiebe post om iQOO 16. (Screenshot by Gizmohina)
He noted that finding the right balance between brightness, power consumption and long-term endurance has traditionally been challenging.
According to the executive, iQOO addressed this challenge with the 2K LEAD OLED panels used on the iQOO 15 and iQOO 15 Ultra. He said the technology has achieved a strong balance between these factors and continues to stay ahead of competing display solutions. Wang Ken also teased that the iQOO 16 will take things even further, although he did not reveal specific details about the upcoming panel.
The iQOO 15 introduced Samsung Display’s 2K LEAD OLED technology with M14 luminous material. Its display supports a 144Hz refresh rate, up to 2,600 nits of global peak brightness, up to 1,000 nits of manual brightness and a minimum brightness of 1 nit. The iQOO 15 Ultra uses the same display technology but increases local peak brightness to up to 8,000 nits.
iQOO 16 Tipped to Get 2K 165Hz Display
A recent leak from reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has provided more details about the iQOO 16’s display. According to the leak, the smartphone is being tested with a 6.85-inch display featuring 2K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. The panel is reportedly being supplied by Samsung Display. If these details are accurate, the iQOO 16 would continue the company’s focus on using high-end display hardware in its flagship smartphones.
The upcoming iQOO Neo 12 is also expected to receive a 2K display. The phone is reportedly being tested with a 6.83-inch Visionox panel, which could support a refresh rate of either 165Hz or 185Hz. This suggests that smooth and high-refresh-rate displays will be a major focus across iQOO’s upcoming lineup.
The iQOO 16 and iQOO Neo 12 are expected to launch in China around late September or early October.
With the launch approaching, more information about their displays and other specifications could surface soon.
Oppo is reportedly developing a 68MP 1:1 square selfie camera for flexible portrait and landscape shots without rotating the phone.
The Reno 18 series is expected in May 2027 and is tipped to feature this sensor.
Oppo’s Find X10 Ultra may debut with a 100MP 1:1 front camera in early 2027, while the Find X10 lineup could launch in China as soon as September.
Oppo could be preparing to bring a new type of selfie camera to its upcoming Reno series smartphones. The company was reportedly testing a square 1:1 front camera earlier this year and a new leak now reveals more about the selfie camera of the upcoming Oppo phone. Here’s what we know.
Oppo Developing 68MP 1:1 Selfie Camera
According to tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, Oppo is developing another 68-megapixel 1:1 square front camera. The tipster has not revealed the exact smartphone that will use this sensor. However, the camera is reportedly being considered for a slim, camera-focused smartphone that is expected to launch next year. The specific model or even the brand has not been disclosed.
DCS’s post on Weibo. (Screenshot by Gizmochina)
A 1:1 selfie camera offers greater flexibility when taking photos and allows users to capture portrait or landscape-oriented selfies without having to rotate the phone.
Notably, Apple already offers this technology on the iPhone 17 series. And if reports are true, Oppo’s Find X10 Ultra could be among the brand’s first smartphones to adopt this new tech.
Recent reports have claimed that the Oppo Find X10 Ultra, which is expected to launch in the first half of 2027, could feature a 100-megapixel 1:1 square front camera. If that information is accurate, the 68-megapixel 1:1 selfie camera could be reserved for an Oppo smartphone launching after the Find X10 Ultra.
This makes the Oppo Reno 18 series a possible model for the new selfie camera. The Reno 18 lineup is expected to debut in May 2027. However, the launch is still several months away, so more reports will be needed to confirm whether the Reno 18 series will indeed feature the 68-megapixel 1:1 front camera.
Oppo Find X10 Series Launch Timeline
Meanwhile, Oppo is reportedly working on its upcoming Find X10 series, which could launch in China as early as September. The lineup is expected to include three models including the Find X10, Find X10 Pro and Find X10 Pro Max. Following the Find X10 series, Oppo is expected to introduce the Reno 17 lineup in November.
More details about the upcoming Reno and Find X series smartphones are expected to emerge in the coming months.
