According to a recent post by tipster Anvin on X, Vivo V80 FE is getting closer to launch. The tipster shared Indonesian TKDN certification that lists the upcoming Vivo smartphone with model number V2624. The same model number is associated with the Vivo V80 FE, which was previously spotted in the GSMA IMEI database in May 2026.

While the early IMEI listing did not reveal any specifications, it clearly showed the commercial name of the upcoming device. The latest TKDN approval now provides some information about the phone.

According to the certification, the Vivo V80 FE will support GSM networks on the 900MHz and 1800MHz bands along with WCDMA on the 900MHz and 2100MHz bands. For 4G connectivity, the phone will support FDD-LTE Bands 1, 3, 5, 8 and 28, as well as TDD-LTE Bands 40 and 41.

The listing also confirms support for 5G NR, meaning the Vivo V80 FE will offer both 4G and 5G connectivity in Indonesia.

The TKDN approval also indicates that the Vivo V80 FE has met Indonesia’s local manufacturing requirements. The device has a domestic component level of 35.80%, allowing it to clear the regulatory requirement for sale in the country.

Vivo V80 FE – What Else We Know?

The latest certification suggests that Vivo is actively preparing the V80 FE for the international market. However, the TKDN listing does not reveal details about the phone’s display, processor, cameras, battery or charging capabilities.

Moreover, the Vivo V80 FE is not the only V-series phone currently in development.

The standard Vivo V80 has also appeared on Indonesia’s SDPPI database with model number V2648. The same model was spotted on the TÜV certification database under certificate number ‘SG PSB-IV-17428’. The certification revealed that the Vivo V80 could support 90W wired fast charging.

Meanwhile, Vivo is also expanding the availability of the Vivo V80 Lite 5G to more global markets. The smartphone was recently launched in Pakistan with a 7,050mAh battery, while its versions for other markets are expected to feature a much larger 10,000mAh battery.

As of now, Vivo has not officially announced the V80 FE or revealed its specifications. With the phone already appearing in certifications, more details could surface in the coming weeks.
