The innovation has come ahead of the World Parkinson’s Day on April 11. The device called Dextrabot is for those suffering from Parkinson’s disease.
Six students; Vaidehi Saxena, Madhavi Ojha, Subah Raman, Tvisha Raj, Oorjit Mahajan and Viryansh Rastogi from class X of Shiv Nadar School (an initiative of the philanthropic Shiv Nadar Foundation), came up with the innovation. They worked on tackling the issue of hand tremors among Parkinson’s disease patient.
They conducted an internal online survey and found that 32.9% were suffering from the problem of hand tremors or knew someone who faced this issue.
These students develop DEXTRABOT, a device that is both inexpensive and effective in the treatment of hand tremors. It enables individuals to perform daily actions like eating, drinking, pouring and brushing with better hand stability.
‘Dextrabot’ is a gyroscopically stable robotic handle (Gyroscopic motion is the tendency of a rotating object to maintain the orientation of its rotation) with options for adding various attachments including spoon, fork, toothbrush, and more which can help people suffering from essential tremors. This light weight device stands out for its unique sensory mechanism and is designed using electronics and robotics. The product comes with an ergonomic handle, dual-axis correction, and works on the Arduino Nano technique which helps control the sensor.
The product was created with inputs from patients and doctors from the start to ensure that ample input is married into the designing phase. Following a thorough research that highlights the life of people affected with this issue and little interventions available in the market to improve their quality of life, the team wants to cater to this niche group by collaborating with NGOs and old-age homes. According to sources in the media, Meta is considering implementing a centralised in-app currency system that will be shared throughout its different platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. Meta appears to be concerned about the future of its finances as a result of Facebook’s declining popularity, forcing it to look for methods to diversify beyond ad revenue and better engage users.
Though not officially named “Zuck Bucks,” internal staff are said to have given the project the moniker in a reference to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
It is unclear how this system will function. However, in a stroke of mercy, this virtual currency is unlikely to be linked to the blockchain. Instead, it is expected to function similarly to the in-game currencies found in many mobile games. These currencies are frequently available for purchase with real money and can be used to purchase access to in-app perks and cosmetics, such as outfits to change the appearance of a video game character.
“Instead, Meta is leaning towards introducing in-app tokens that would be centrally controlled by the company, similar to those used in gaming apps such as the Robux currency in popular children’s game Roblox,” according to a report. With increased usage for personal or professional purposes, Meta-owned Instagram has become one of the popular apps over other social media platforms recently. Users have been frequently turning on their Instagram account to follow the latest updates who they follow. However, you might find it difficult to revisit your favourite video on Instagram Reels you watched previously.
Instagram doesn’t officially have a feature that keeps track of all the Reels you have watched on the platform. So how will you do it? If you want to revisit the video you watched recently, you need to follow these steps
View liked videos on Instagram Reels (Android, iOS)
Keeping a track of your Instagram Reels watch history through liked reels is one of the ways. Check out the posts you have liked to revisit a Reel later. Here is what you need to do it:
Open the Instagram app and click on your profile section. Now, tap the three horizontal lines at the top-right corner and tap on ‘Settings’.
After tapping on the Settings page, press the search box, type ‘Manage Likes’, you will get the list of Instagram Reels liked by you in the newest to oldest order. From here, you can easily locate the Instagram reels that you want to watch again.
You can also sort and filter your liked posts. To get started, tap on the “Sort & filter” option at the top-right corner.
You can now sort your liked posts by newest to oldest and oldest to newest. Option to specify start and end dates to view liked posts from a specific time period are also available.
Check Saved Instagram Reels to see watch history
Another way to check your Instagram reels watch history is to visit the saved reels option. By clicking on the saved icon, you will be able to get the list of your favourite Instagram reels under ‘Saved’. Through this way, you will be able to save Reels you find interesting. Here’s how you can save Instagram Reels to create a watch history:
If you want to create a pool of your liked reels, you need to click on the ‘saved’ option just below the post. After clicking on the ‘Saved’ option, you need to choose to ‘save to collection’.
To access your saved Instagram Reels, switch to your profile section, tap the three lines at the top-right corner, and select “Saved”.
You will be able to see all the posts you have saved on the Instagram. Tap on “All Posts” to view all your saved posts. You can then switch to the Reels tab to view all the Reels you have saved so far.
4.You can also create a collection of your favorite Reels by clicking on the ‘+’ icon, select the videos, and name the collection. You will be able check your new collection under the “Saved” section.
How to keep Instagram account safe

It is recommended to use random passwords.
Your password must contain an alphanumeric pattern along with special characters to make it tough to guess.
You must avoid the shorter passwords. Password must be of minimum eight characters.
Change your passwords regularly
It is important to have multi-factor authentication in place. Make sure to add your phone number, email id and any other extra layer you can add to ensure nobody can access your account even if the password is compromised.
Never click a link online that you do not recognize or trust. Be specifically careful if it offers free gifts and rewards which seems too good to be true.
Never share your password with anyone or write it down under any circumstances.

Microsoft has announced a new update that allows you press the Xbox button on your controller to switch the input to your Series X or Series S. According to tweet by Larry Hryb also known as Xbox’s Major Nelson, users will be able to switch input back to your Xbox when they will press Xbox button on your controller once.
It further says that if user is on a different TV input waiting for a download or update, they can press the Xbox button once to switch back to the Xbox input.
Once the feature is enabled, all you will have to do is press the Xbox button on the gamepad. It is worth mentioning here that the new feature will only be available on Xbox Series X and S. This feature will not be available not the last-gen Xbox One due to absence of HDMI- Consumer Electronics Control (CEC).
This feature has will do away the need of a remote while returning to their Xbox after a TV session.
You can switch to cable TV during a download knowing that you just have to grab your controller when you are ready to play.
You can enable it through the “Sleep mode & startup” settings section through the “TV & A/V power options” selection.
HDMI-CEC
HDMI feature called Consumer Electronics Control (CEC) can be used by Xbox Series X|S consoles to send commands to and from CEC-enabled devices (such as TVs and AVRs). Devices must be connected to the console.
This feature can be turned on and off via the TV & A/V power options settings screen. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, then go to Profile & system > Settings > General > Sleep mode & startup > TV & A/V power options.

Most tech companies hosts an annual developer conferences, and Microsoft is no exception. The company will be holding its annual Build conference from May 24 to May 26 for developers, engineers, and IT professionals.
Microsoft’s annual developer conference is called Build. It usually begins in May. The first day is live-streamed and offers the most consumer-facing announcements, while the remaining days are dedicated to developer training (which can also be viewed online). Build was a free, virtual-only event that took place over several days for the previous two years. It will be a virtual affair once again for 2022.
The corporation has already sent out press invitations for the event, which states, “Come together with peers and experts May 24–26, 2022, for an engaging experience around the latest in innovation and tools that will help you stay informed.”
Microsoft Build 2022 Event Date & Time
Build 2022 begins on May 24 and ends on May 26, 2022. The three-day event will kick off on May 24 at 8:30 a.m. PT, with an opening keynote likely led by CEO Satya Nadella and other company executives. Microsoft announced that it will include “market-specific content” for France, Germany, Japan, Latin America, and the UK this year.
Microsoft Build 2022: How to Watch?
You will be able to watch the Day One keynote online. The developer sessions will be available on Microsoft’s Build 2022 website. Microsoft recommends that you must register to “attend” Build in order to view them.
Registration for this year’s Build conference will open in late April and will be free for all who wish to attend. The event agenda has already been posted online and can be accessed by clicking here.
What to expect from Build 2022?
Microsoft teased Windows 11 and extended Microsoft Teams to applications, among other things, at Build 2021. But those were the most significant announcements for the general public. Expect Microsoft will continue to focus on Windows this year. The focus of the event will very certainly be on Azure, Microsoft 365, Visual Studio, and other developer tools.
For the first time this year, it will include content tailored to individual areas, such as the United Kingdom, Japan, and Latin America. Build doesn’t usually focus on new Windows features; but, because this is the first Build event since the release of Windows 11, we might hear more about that at this year’s conference. The company hasn’t hinted yet at what it will announce, but when the developer sessions agenda goes live, hopefully, we’ll have a better understanding.
