Xiaomi TV Stick 4K has been launched in India on the occasion of the brand’s five-year journey of smart television in India.
Xiaomi has been a strong player in the smart TV segment but it has not upgraded its TV Stick lineup in the country for a long time
The company says the new streaming stick is designed to offer an all-new multimedia experience and focuses on further accelerating the 4K adoption in the country.
The Xiaomi TV Stick 4K delivers exceptional colours thanks to Dolby Vision, and an immersive audio experience with Dolby Atmos support as well.
Xiaomi claims the streaming stick will offer a clear and immersive theatre-quality sound experience right at home.
The Xiaomi TV Stick 4K is equipped with Android TV 11, which comes with Google Play Store pre-installed and access to 10,000+ apps.
Consumers can discover 400,000+ movies and shows from their favourite OTT apps.

As we expand our portfolio, we aim to bring 4K entertainment closer to consumers with the launch of the Xiaomi TV Stick 4K. Entering our sixth year, we will continue to push our limits of innovations and offer consumers a range of products that bring a cinematic experience at home.”
The Xiaomi TV Stick 4K is priced at Rs. 4,999 and will be available from mi.com from February 20th.
Meanwhile, the Mi TV Stick, which debuted in August 2020, costs Rs. 2,799.
As the name implies, when plugged in, it equips a regular television with the same features as a smart TV.
The Xiaomi TV stick 4K is powered by a Quad-core Cortex A35 processor with ARM Mali-G31 MP2 GPU, 2GB RAM and 8GB storage to install third-party applications. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and Bluetooth 5.0. The streaming stick comes with Patchwall UI and Chromecast support.
The software gives users direct access to HDMI inputs as well as access to commonly used TV apps. In essence, it is in charge of centralising various television functions in a single location.
Customers will be able to discover YouTube Music Playlists directly from Patchwall Music Tab.
They will also get access to 30+ international and Indian content partners and also make smart recommendations and content from 10+ languages. The streaming device from Xiaomi42.8g and measures 106.8×29.4×15.4mm. The Xiaomi TV Stick 4K measures just 106.8 mm x 29.4 mm and as one would expect, can convert any non-smart TV into a smart TV.
Xiaomi TV Stick 4K comes with a remote, a power adapter, and an HDMI extender cable in the box.
Customers will have access to Google Assistant, Netflix, Hotstar, and Prime Video dedicated buttons on the TV remote control.

In terms of video output, both devices support 4K resolution at 60 frames per second and HDR 10+.
However, the Xiaomi TV Stick 4K also supports Dolby Vision, a more advanced HDR format.
