Vivo Y78 5G has been launched in Singapore to make its global debut. Notably, Vivo launched Y78 5G in China earlier this month.

Tucked into a punch hole is a 16MP camera (f/2.45), while the rear has a single module of interest – a 64MP sensor combined with an f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization. Also on the back are a 2MP macro cam and a 2MP depth sensor. That’s different from both the other Y78 phones, which have 8MP selfie and 50MP rear cameras.

The Y78 is powered by the Snapdragon 695. We can see a curved display and curved edges on the V29 Pro with the power button and volume keys on the right side of the phone. The smartphone is also seen in a black colour but more options should be available at the official launch.

Vivo V29 Pro Key Specifications Revealed

Vivo has shared a teaser image of the upcoming smartphone on their Philippines website. The image reveals the power button placement and volume rockers on the right side. Vivo’s logo can be seen on the bottom left corner of the smartphone.

The rear camera layout is similar to the existing Vivo V27 Pro smartphone. The ring light can be seen on the top right part of the camera cut-out.

Vivo reveals the device will sport a 6.7 inches curved OLED panel with a Full HD+ resolution. The panel will have a refresh rate of 120Hz and will offer a better visual experience.

In terms of optics, it will be equipped with a triple rear camera setup with a primary 64MP sensor. The primary camera is tipped to feature Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) support. The device will use a large 50MP selfie camera which will be placed inside the punch-hole.

It will be backed by a large 5000 mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging tech.

The chipset will be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Vivo hasn’t revealed any other specifications of the upcoming Vivo V29 Pro smartphone.

The official launch date hasn’t been revealed yet but it is speculated that the Vivo V29 Pro will debut globally in June, and arrive in India shortly after.

Rumours also suggest the Vivo V29 Pro 5G might arrive in India as a rebranded Vivo S17 Pro that is also slated to launch in China tomorrow. But since there’s no official confirmation yet it’s best not to come to conclusions.

Interestingly, the benchmark also confirms a generous amount of RAM – about 12 GB. Finally, the phone runs Android 13 OS, which means Funtouch OS 13 for global markets and OriginOS 3 for China.

S17 Pro camera details have been tipped

We expect Vivo to confirm the chipset soon for the Vivo S17, after all, the brand already began the teasing campaign for these devices. Today, Vivo’s official Weibo page started to tease some of the details of the Vivo S17 Pro. The brand revealed that the phone will bring an LED flash that can light up at different temperatures. It will also bring two front-facing LED flashes that fit on the phone’s top bezel. These will light up when you wish to take selfies in dark environments. The Vivo S17 Pro is confirmed with a 50 MP shooter for selfies and video calls.

It’s not surprising to see a 50 MP front-facing camera on the Vivo S17. After all, this lineup has a recurring story of super-capable selfie cameras. OPPO might launch the Reno 10 series soon in India. The company launched the Reno 10 series earlier this month in China. OPPO launched three devices in the lineup. The Reno 10 Pro+ 5G sits at the top of the series, below which are the Reno 10 Pro and Reno 10 5G.

It is likely that all three Reno 10 series phones might launch in India in the coming weeks. A new leak has claimed that the Reno 10 series will debut in India during the third week of June.

OPPO has officially not confirmed any details about the launch. However, tipster Paras Guglani, who revealed the launch timeline, has also listed the RAM, storage and pricing details of the Reno 10 series ahead of the India debut.

The Reno 10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro+ 5G will debut in India with 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage. The former is tipped to cost between Rs 35,000 and Rs 39,000 in India. While the top-end Reno 10 Pro+ 5G will likely be priced between Rs 41,000 and Rs 43,000.
