Nothing is gearing up for the launch of the Phone (2). The company has started teasing the key specifications and features of its upcoming flagship smartphone. The Phone (2) launch event will be hosted on July 11.

Ahead of the launch event, Nothing has quietly unveiled its new colour option of the Ear (2). The Nothing wireless earbuds are now available in Black. The company had previously announced the new premium truly wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds in India in a single White colour option.

The new Nothing Ear (2) Black colour option will be available for purchase in India via Flipkart. Nothing revealed that the TWS earbuds will go on sale from July 21.

Ahead of the launch of the much-awaited Nothing Phone(2) smartphone Nothing has launched Ear(2) in black colour.
Nothing Ear(1) was the first product that Nothing came with and disrupted the market of technology with its transparent minimal design.

Nothing has followed the same design language for the Nothing Ear(2) Black color as it did with Ear(1) Black. The Nothing Ear(2) Black will go on sale from July 21 via Flipkart and select retail stores at Rs 9,999.

But for Nothing Phone(2) pre-order customers it will be available from July 11 till July 20.

Nothing Ear 2 launched in India earlier this year as a successor to the Nothing Ear 1, which were released in July 2021 at Rs. 5,999. The Ear 2 offer up to 40dB of active noise cancellation, customised drivers, and AI-backed microphones in each earbud.

Now, a tipster has suggested that the earbuds will launch in a new colour variant to join the existing white variant. It is speculated that the new colour could be released alongside the Nothing Phone 2, which is scheduled to launch on July 11.

Tipster Roland Quandt (@rquant) has shared leaked design renders of a black-coloured Nothing Ear 2. The images show that the earbuds in this variant carry a similar semi-transparent design.

The internal features of the charging case is seen in black. The earbuds also use black hues prominently.

Customers who pre-ordered the upcoming flagship, the Phone (2) will have an early-access sale of the Ear (2) Black from July 11 to July 20. The White colour variant of the Nothing wireless earbuds continues to be available for purchase via Flipkart.

The new Black colour option has the exact same features and hardware packed in the white one. Just swap the white-coloured parts of the Ear (2) with black, and that is the only design change you would see.

The stem continues to sport a semi-transparent design and has a black sheet that covers some of the internal components. The earbuds also feature silicon ear tips for better grip and isolation.

Each earbud of the Ear (2) has an 11.6 mm custom driver that claims to deliver deep, powerful bass and crystal-clear highs with a new dual chamber design that enhances the overall sound quality with smoother airflow.

Users can also switch between devices with the help of the Dual Connection feature. Also, there are features like Personal Sound Profile, improved wind-proof and crowd-proof Clear Voice Technology, and Personalised Active Noise Cancellation.

Nothing also revealed that Ear (2) and Ear (stick) users can now access the new Advanced Equaliser to customise sound with a higher level of precision.
This new advanced equaliser is said to provide more control to users on how they want to hear their music through an intuitive and simple graphical interface.

It allows a deep level of customisation through a parametric 8-band equaliser with a real-time preview of the changes, the full Q factor, and frequency control. Advanced Equaliser will also let users share their EQ profile or download others through a QR code via the Nothing X app.

Also, there is a new Noise Reduction feature for Ear (stick) to enable users to attenuate ambient noises and enjoy music on a deeper level. To access this new feature, users can go to Settings in the Nothing X app.

The rounded edges and boxy style design give the phone a stylish look. Overall, at first glance, it seems to be an easy-to-handle device that we can expect to operate with one hand.

One aspect to consider is the glossy back panel, which tends to attract fingerprints easily.

Just hours after giving us the first look at the Nothing Phone (2), the company has now shared the first official image of the device.

The Nothing Phone (2) will come in two colour options of white and a dark grey which also looks somewhat like a dark blue.
You get the same Glyph Interface with a little tweaks but overall the design is mostly the same as the Nothing Phone (1).

The leaked specifications reveal the camera specifications, battery capacity, and more details of the Nothing Phone (2).

Nothing Phone (2) Official image confirms Grey Colour

There isn’t much to talk about the Nothing Phone (2)’s design since we’ve already gotten a good look at it through MKBHD’s video. But it’s worth noting that the colour options are confirmed for the Phone (2).

Nothing is keeping the white colour, and instead of the black it has gone for a dark grey that has a bluish tinge to it as well.

One very tiny design change that will most likely go unnoticed is the curved edges on the Nothing Phone (2) as opposed to the flat edges on the Phone (1).

The Glyph Interface at the back has gone through a redesign though, and with new features. Nothing has basically split the LED lights into smaller parts which will give more customisation options to users. It now comes with 33 different LED lighting zones controllable by software.

The Glyph Interface has been designed to sync with certain features such as the volume indicator, and the timer.
So whenever you’re adjusting the volume the LED light will also move accordingly, and it will also roll down when a timer’s countdown is set.

Nothing is also partnering with third-party apps such as Uber and Zomato to integrate the Glyph Interface so users have more to do with the LED lights.

Then there’s the Glyph Composer which will let users make their own ringtones. Nothing also teamed up with Swedish House Mafia to make customisable ringtones for not just Phone (2) but Phone (1) users as well.

Nothing Phone (2) Tipped To Feature 50MP Dual-Camera, 32MP Selfie Camera

As per the details shared by tipster Yogesh Brar via Twitter, the upcoming Nothing Phone (2) will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display. The device will have an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. As confirmed by Nothing earlier, the Phone (2) will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

The device is expected to pack up to 12GB of RAM and 256/512GB of internal storage. As for the software, the handset will boot Android 13 out of the box with Nothing OS 2.0 on top.
The smartphone will receive three years of Android OS updates and four years of security patches.

Furthermore, the details shared by Brar also reveal the camera specifications of the Nothing Phone (2). The device will be featuring a dual-camera setup at the back accompanied by a LED flash.

The camera setup at the rear side will consist of a 50MP primary camera (Sony IMX890 sensor) which will have OIS support. The 50MP sensor will be paired with a 50MP ultra-wide lens. For the selfies and video-calling department, the handset will flaunt a 32MP camera.

The device will also feature an optical fingerprint sensor for the security purpose. The phone also will have an IP rating for water and dust resistance.

A 4,700mAh battery will be equipped with the device which will support 33W fast charging and 15W wireless charging. As for the pricing, the device might retail between Rs 42,000 to Rs 43,000.

Here’s the Nothing Phone 2 in its Full Glory

The design is similar to the renders of the Phone (2) courtesy of reputed tipster OnLeaks.
At the time, Carl Pei tweeted the word “Fake” to refute the authenticity of the leaked Nothing Phone (2) renders.

However, we can see that the renders were spot on with the design, including the curved back, new split centre, and the camera arc in the Glyph interface.

However, what the renders did get wrong is the colour of the smartphone, which is lighter grey than white, and the punch-hole cutout, which is in the centre instead of the top left corner, as shown in the renders.

Marques reveals in its video that the Nothing Phone 2 has 33 LEDs on the back panel compared to 12 on its predecessor. The back panel is identical except that the massive centre arc has been split into six, and the camera arc has been split in two.

The biggest LED strip in the centre arc, located in the top right, has 16 LEDs and is interactive, like the exclamation LED at the bottom.

While the exclamation LED is limited to the battery level indicator, the new 16-LED arc strip is intended to be a progress bar. It can be used with timers and third-party apps like Zomato and Uber to show the progress.

According to Marques, the LED indicator will use live notifications to show the progress of the activity, like Uber distance or Zomato food order location, and more.
Thanks to 16 LEDs, this progress indicator LED strip is much more precise and granular.

The YouTuber also reveals that the Glyph interface now offers a new feature called Essential Notifications, which lets users choose important apps.
Once set, the slanted LED strip on top will stay on when you receive notifications on your chosen app until the notification is addressed.

Additionally, the Nothing Phone 2 now allows users to create custom Glyph ringtones. MKBHD didn’t reveal anything else in his video.

Nothing Phone 2 price in India is expected to be Rs 40,000 – Rs 45,000. The smartphone will go on sale on Flipkart after the launch, and the pre-order is already live on the e-commerce website.

Ans) Realme Narzo 60 Pro’s design is identical to what we have seen on the Realme 11 series. Especially on the back, with a round camera module and a vegan leather back. There are certain differences though, which can be noticed. Like the Narzo misses out on the stitching on the leather back, like we see on the 11 series. Another is of course Narzo is a tad bit heavier.

I wish Realme didn’t add the Narzo branding on the back, since for me it breaks the beauty of the device. The martian color with me looks very elegant and is a darker orange color that will grow on you. There are other color options like sunrise which is white and cosmic night, which is black. If you want to play it safe you can go with the latter.

Moving on, the back also adds to the grip, since it is textured. Providing a premium in-hand feel, the smartphone has a character to it, which is favorable. The curved edges look elegant and the golden trim adds to the experience as well.

Located on the right side of the device are the power button and the volume rockers, providing a tactile experience with a satisfying clicky feedback. Although the Narzo 60 Pro exhibits a sturdy build, it lacks an official IP rating, which would have added to its reliability credentials.

While I acknowledge that this omission is typical in its price segment, having such certification would have served as a valuable assurance.

Moving to the bottom of the device, you will find the SIM tray, the USB Type-C charging port, and the speaker grill. The 10 Pro+ 5G supports two micro SIMs through this port. We don’t have a 3.5mm headphone jack here, which shouldn’t be surprising.

However, there is a feature making a return in this segment which I would have liked to see here – IR blaster.

Apart from that, the touch response on the display is robust, enhanced by the haptic feedback, resulting in an interactive experience. The screen offers a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz, with a standard option of 60Hz. Additionally, an auto-select feature adjusts the refresh rate based on the displayed content.

Throughout my testing, I preferred the maximum 120Hz refresh rate as it provided smoother and more consistent visuals. In contrast, the auto-select mode exhibited noticeable stutters when switching between different refresh rates for various applications.
Additionally, the device offers a standard always-on display, which can be customized.

Ans) The audio setup on the Narzo 60 Pro completes its package. With a dual-speaker setup and Dolby Atmos support, the device delivers impressive volume. The speakers also feature an ultra-volume mode, which, while not recommended for continuous usage, shouldn’t cause any issues with occasional bursts of loud sound.

The 60 Pro performs well in heavy tasks, but it truly shines when handling everyday tasks such as emails, web scrolling, and social media. These activities also allowed me to appreciate the display further, as it provided a delightful scrolling experience.

Ans) The battery performance on the device met my expectations. On average, I achieved a screen-on-time (SoT) of up to 5 hours. The SoT dropped to 5 hours on weekends when I engaged in longer gaming sessions and watched content. However, on lighter usage days, the SoT could extend to 7 hours thanks to the 5000mAh battery.
The phone also supports 67W SUPERVOOC charging, which is enabled with the included adapter. The charging speeds are favorable, and with data turned on and apps running in the background, you can expect a 0-100% charge in approximately 50 minutes.

However, Realme is yet to launch the device for the global markets. Realme had rebranded the Chinese Realme GT Neo 5 240W for the global markets as Realme GT 3 240W.

Recently we saw the first look at the upcoming Realme GT Neo 6 smartphone. A tipster recently tipped the specifications of the forthcoming GT Neo 6 and GT Neo 6 Pro smartphones.

The Chinese smartphone maker Realme is gearing up for the launch of the Realme GT Neo 6 smartphone. Back in May, the key specifications of the handset such as its display size, chipset details, and fast charging information were revealed courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station.

According to that leak, the device will be featuring an OLED display with 1.5K resolution, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, and 100W fast charging support.

The smartphones have also been listed in TENAA, revealing the official images and model numbers.

Realme GT Neo 6 and GT Neo 6 Pro Tipped Specifications

The TENAA (Chinese Telecom Authority) listing reveals that the upcoming smartphones will bear the model number RMX3823 and RMX3820. These model numbers would belong to the Realme GT Neo 6 and GT Neo 6 Pro smartphones. The images revealed through the TENAA listing are similar to the renders seen earlier .

The images tell us that the smartphone will be equipped with a triple rear camera in a large camera layout. The power button and volume rockers can be seen on the right.

Digital Chat Station revealed that the upcoming smartphones will have a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution. The display will also have a refresh rate of 144Hz, similar to the previous GT Neo 5 smartphone.

He also tipped that one of the upcoming smartphones will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Another tipster has revealed the GT Neo 6 Pro will be equipped with the flagship Snapdragon SoC.

The Pro variant will also be backed by a 4600 mAh battery with support for 240W fast charging tech. Realme had equipped a similar battery and fast charging tech to its predecessor Realme GT Neo 5.

The company claims the GT Neo 5 smartphone can be charged from 0 to 100 in 9 minutes.
The Qualcomm chipset will be paired with up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Digital Chat Station hints that Realme would equip the device with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

He also adds that Realme would equip the device with a 50MP Sony IMX 890 primary rear camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) support.

DCS hints that Realme might launch the Pro variant with a 150W fast-charging variant. The vanilla GT Neo 6 is tipped to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+, built on a 4nm process.
The chipset is expected to pair with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The device will be backed by a large 5000 mAh battery which supports 100W fast charging tech.

Realme had launched another device in the GT Neo 5 series as Realme GT Neo 5 SE in China. The upcoming Realme GT Neo 5 Pro smartphone was also certified by many authorities.

There is no information on the India launch of these smartphones. We might have to wait a bit longer to know if Realme might skip the GT Neo 5 series and launch the GT Neo 6 series in India.

The standard version of the series is expected to be powered by the impressive Dimensity 9200+ chipset. It is the same chip that powers the iQOO Neo 8 Pro and the Vivo X90s.

The leak further revealed that the Realme GT Neo 6 will feature a 5,000mAh battery with 100W rapid charging support. Additionally, it may come with a massive 16GB of RAM and a whopping 1TB of internal storage.

Realme GT Neo 6 Pro

The Pro version of the Realme GT Neo 6 series will possibly be aimed at those seeking even more power, as it is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Moreover, the Pro variant might boast a 4,600mAh battery with 240W fast charging capability.

In terms of RAM and storage, the Pro version might come equipped with 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of native storage.

There is a possibility that, like the Realme GT Neo 5 series, the upcoming GT Neo models could be branded as the Realme GT Neo 6 and GT Neo 6 240W. Readers are advised to approach the report with caution and take it with a grain of salt.

Since the source of the news is new and lacks a previous track record, it’s important to exercise scepticism until further confirmation or official announcements are made.

The device will also have SUPERVOOC fast charging and NFC support. The power and volume keys will be located on the right side of the handset.

Considering that the Realme GT Neo 5 has RGB lights beside the Snapdragon logo at the rear, we can expect the upcoming Realme GT Neo 6 to offer the same. And these are the only details, we can grab from the press renders.

As far as the specifications go, the Realme GT Neo 6 is tipped to feature an OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. The smartphone’s display might offer a 144Hz refresh rate. Currently, the display size of the device remains unknown.

As confirmed by the render, the Realme GT Neo 6 will come with Qualcomm’s flagship 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset accompanied by Adreno 740 GPU.
