Following the industry-wide trend of smartphone price revisions, Nothing has again revised the prices of three of its smartphones in India. The latest price revision affects the Nothing Phone (4a), Nothing Phone (4a) Pro and Nothing Phone (4b) with the new prices coming into effect from September 2, 2026.

The price increase varies depending on the model and storage configuration. While the Nothing Phone (4a) gets a hike of up to ₹3,000, the Phone (4a) Pro has become costlier by up to ₹5,000.

The Nothing Phone (4b), meanwhile, sees a ₹5,000 increase for its 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant.

Nothing Phone (4a) New Price in India

The Nothing Phone (4a) has received different price increases across its three configurations. The 8GB+128GB variant now costs ₹44,999, up from ₹42,999, marking a ₹2,000 increase. The 8GB+256GB model has gone up by ₹3,000, while the top-end 12GB+256GB variant gets a relatively smaller ₹1,000 hike.

With the revision, the base Nothing Phone (4a) now starts at ₹44,999, while the 8GB+256GB version has moved close to the ₹50,000 mark.

Nothing Phone (4a) Pro Price Revised

The Nothing Phone (4a) Pro has seen a more significant price increase. Its 8GB+128GB variant is now priced at ₹54,999, compared with the earlier MOP of ₹49,999. This represents a ₹5,000 hike.

The 8GB+256GB version has also become ₹3,000 more expensive and now carries a price tag of ₹57,999.

The new pricing pushes both Phone (4a) Pro configurations further into the premium price segment with even the base model now costing more than ₹50,000.

Nothing Phone (4b) Gets ₹5,000 Price Hike

The Nothing Phone (4b) has also become considerably more expensive. Its 8GB+128GB configuration now costs ₹39,999, up from ₹34,999 previously.

This takes the starting price of the Nothing Phone (4b) very close to ₹40,000, making the price revision particularly notable for buyers considering the phone in the sub-₹40,000 segment.

New Nothing Phone Prices Take Effect From September 2

The revised MOPs for the Nothing Phone (4a), Phone (4a) Pro and Phone (4b) are effective from September 2, 2026. Among the affected models, the highest increase is ₹5,000, applicable to the Phone (4a) Pro 8GB+128GB and Phone (4b) 8GB+128GB variants.

Nothing has not officially provided any reason for the price revision. However, the smartphone industry has been going through repeated price revisions in all price categories due to the ongoing memory chip price crisis.

Xiaomi has increased the prices of several Xiaomi Pad and Redmi Pad models in India. The latest revision affects multiple configurations across the Xiaomi Pad 8, Xiaomi Pad 8 Nano Texture Edition, Redmi Pad 2 and Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G. The price increase ranges from Rs 1,000 to Rs 3,000, depending on the model and variant.

The Xiaomi Pad 8 series has received the biggest hike of Rs 3,000, while the affected Redmi tablet models are now Rs 1,000 more expensive.

Xiaomi Tablets New Price Details

The standard Xiaomi Pad 8 with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is now priced at Rs 46,999, up from Rs 43,999. It is available in Graphite Grey and Titanium Blue colour options. The Xiaomi Pad 8 Nano Texture Edition with the same memory configuration has increased from Rs 45,999 to Rs 48,999.

The Xiaomi Pad 8 with Pen, available in the 12GB + 256GB configuration and Graphite Grey colour, now costs Rs 51,999 instead of Rs 48,999. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Pad 8 Nano Texture Edition with Pen has gone up from Rs 50,999 to Rs 53,999. This variant also comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Redmi Tablets New Price Details

For Redmi, the Redmi Pad 2 with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage now costs Rs 19,999, compared with Rs 18,999 previously. The Wi-Fi + Cellular version of the same configuration has increased from Rs 19,999 to Rs 20,999.

The 6GB + 128GB Redmi Pad 2 is now priced at Rs 23,999, up from Rs 22,999. The 8GB + 128GB model has gone from Rs 20,999 to Rs 21,999.

The Redmi Pad 2 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, featuring Wi-Fi + Cellular connectivity, now costs Rs 25,999 instead of Rs 24,999. The version bundled with the Smart Pen 1S has also received a Rs 1,000 hike, moving from Rs 28,499 to Rs 29,499.

Finally, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage has increased from Rs 33,999 to Rs 34,999.

iQOO is expected to soon introduce new devices such as iQOO 16, iQOO Neo 12 and a new compact tablet. While details are mostly under wraps, tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed some design details of the iQOO 16. On the other hand, iQOO flagship series Product Manager Wang Ken has teased the company’s upcoming compact tablet.

iQOO 16’s Futuristic Rear Design Teased

The iQOO 16 is expected to arrive with a completely new look at the back. According to Digital Chat Station, the smartphone will have a square-shaped camera island with strongly rounded corners. Three rear cameras are said to sit inside the module in a connected arrangement.

The camera section could get more elements around its outer frame along with textured detailing underneath. This is expected to give the camera island a more mechanical and intricate appearance. The rear panel itself is also tipped to use a newly developed manufacturing process.

Overall, iQOO appears to be going for a futuristic, science-fiction-inspired design with the iQOO 16. The unusual camera layout combined with the textured rear finish could help the phone look considerably different from its predecessors and other upcoming flagship smartphones.

iQOO 16 Camera and Display Specifications

Previous leaks have suggested that the iQOO 16 could feature three 50-megapixel cameras on the rear. The primary sensor is expected to measure 1/1.3-inch and could have an f/1.68 aperture. The ultrawide and periscope telephoto cameras are also tipped to use 50-megapixel sensors.

Meanwhile, iQOO’s Wang Ken has shared a screenshot that is believed to offer an early glimpse of iQOO’s upcoming compact tablet. However, the executive has not revealed any specifications of the device yet.

The tablet is believed to be the Vivo device carrying model number iPA2691, which recently received SRRC certification in China. It is expected to use a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6-series chipset and could feature an active cooling system with a built-in fan.

The compact tablet is also rumoured to support Wi-Fi connectivity but may not offer cellular connectivity. It could be positioned primarily as a gaming-focused device, with an OLED display, slim bezels and a high refresh rate among its expected features.

While further detail remain limited, more information on both the iQOO 16 and the compact tablet could emerge ahead of the expected China launch event.

Vivo is preparing to launch its X500 series in September and official teasers have been revealing details of major upgrades in photography and videography. The latest information reveals an impressive slow-motion video capability coming to the Pro models. Meanwhile, an alleged live image of the Vivo X500 Pro Max has also surfaced online revealing the massive camera module.

Vivo X500 Pro Series to Support 4K 240fps Slow Motion

In a recent Weibo post, Vivo product manager Han Boxiao has confirmed that the X500 Pro series will be capable of recording 4K video at 240 frames per second through its Zeiss Super Dynamic main camera. For comparison, standard 4K video recording at 30fps captures far fewer frames. The higher frame rate allows footage to be slowed down significantly while still retaining a 4K output.

The feature is aimed at capturing brief moments in greater detail including memorable scenes while travelling. The company is not stopping at 4K 240fps, either. It is also developing 4K 480fps and 4K 960fps slow-motion recording modes.

These higher slow-motion modes will reportedly rely on Vivo’s own 4K frame interpolation and video speed mapping algorithms. The technology is designed to produce 16x and 32x slow-motion footage while keeping the final video in 4K resolution.

Such capabilities could be useful for recording fast-moving scenes including splashing water, bursting bubbles and similar action where individual moments are difficult to capture with regular video.

Alleged Vivo X500 Pro Max Picture Leaked

In a separate update, a real-life picture allegedly of the upcoming Vivo X500 Pro Max has surfaced online. The image shows the upcoming smartphone placed next to the Vivo X300 Ultra for comparison.

The X500 Pro Max appears to feature an extremely large camera island that extends almost from one side of the phone to the other. Its size makes the already prominent camera module on the X300 Ultra look relatively small in comparison.

The Vivo T5x 5G was launched in India in March 2026 at a starting price of Rs 18,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. Since then, the prices had already been revised and the latest increase pushes them even higher. Here are all the details of the updated prices and a comparison with the launch price.

Vivo T5x 5G New Price

The Vivo T5x 5G with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage now costs Rs 27,999. It was previously available for Rs 24,999, meaning the latest revision brings a Rs 3,000 increase. Compared to its original launch price of Rs 18,999, the variant is now Rs 9,000 more expensive.

The 8GB + 128GB model has also received a Rs 3,000 price increase. Its previous price of Rs 27,999 has been revised to Rs 30,999. At launch, this variant cost Rs 20,999, making its current price Rs 10,000 higher than the original launch price.

The biggest increase applies to the 8GB + 256GB variant. Its price has gone up from Rs 30,999 to Rs 34,999, resulting in a Rs 4,000 hike. The same model was launched at Rs 22,999, which means buyers now pay Rs 12,000 more than they did at launch.

Should You Buy Vivo T5x 5G At Hiked Price?

Vivo has announced the new prices but the company has not specified a reason for the latest price hike. Therefore, there is currently no official explanation for why the Vivo T5x 5G has become more expensive.

The latest price increase makes the Vivo T5x 5G considerably more expensive than it was at launch. The 8GB + 256GB model in particular now costs Rs 12,000 more than its original launch price. The latest price revision comes after the phone’s pricing has already seen changes in the market

The smartphone, however, still stands decently well in terms of specs at the new price.

Vivo T5x 5G features a 6.76-inch full-HD+ LCD display with a 1,080×2,344-pixel resolution, powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo chipset. The phone has a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX852 primary sensor and a 2-megapixel bokeh camera. A 32-megapixel front camera is available for selfies and video calls. A 7,200mAh battery powers the smartphone, with support for 44W wired charging.

OnePlus is preparing its next flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 16, for an early October launch in China. The company has not announced a launch date yet but tipsters online have been steadily revealing details about the upcoming device. We recently reported about the display of the upcoming phone based on leaks from trusted online tipsters and now the latest leak focuses on the phone’s camera hardware.

OnePlus 16 Could Get a 200MP Primary Camera

According to Digital Chat Station’s recent post on Weibo, OnePlus 16 is expected to bring a major change to its main camera. The phone could use a 200-megapixel primary sensor measuring 1/1.4-inch. The sensor is reportedly exclusive to the OnePlus 16 among the models in its sub-series, indicating that the company may be placing particular emphasis on the main camera’s image quality.

The primary camera will reportedly be joined by a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto sensor offering 3x optical zoom. This camera is said to use a 1/1.95-inch Sony sensor. Completing the rear setup could be a new 50-megapixel ultrawide camera.

This would give the phone three dedicated cameras for standard, zoom, and wide-angle photography.

Responding to a user comment, DCS further confirmed that the front camera is also expected to receive an upgrade. The OnePlus 16 could feature a 50-megapixel selfie camera with autofocus. This should offer an advantage over fixed-focus front cameras by allowing the camera to focus more accurately on subjects and providing greater flexibility when taking selfies.

OnePlus 16  – What Else We Know So Far?

Previous leaks from the same tipsters revealed that the smartphone will use a new-generation BOE Oriental Screen with a 165Hz refresh rate. The high refresh rate is expected to work across a wider range of system and application scenarios. The screen is also tipped to use X4 light-emitting material jointly developed by OnePlus and BOE. For gaming, the refresh rate could reportedly increase to 185Hz in supported titles.

OnePlus is also expected to make improvements to its Fengchi Gaming Core technology, which is designed around high-refresh-rate performance. The company’s e-sports triple-core technology is also expected to receive upgrades on the upcoming flagship.

The phone is reportedly powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset and may feature a huge 9,000mAh battery. Charging support could include 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

Other expected features include IP68 and IP69 ratings, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor built into the display, dual speakers, and an X-axis vibration motor. On the software side, the phone is expected to run Android 17 with ColorOS 17.

As of now, all of these details are based on leaks and OnePlus has not officially confirmed the specifications. More details are expected closer to the reported China launch in early October.
