Multiple sources have been speculating about Oppo’s upcoming Reno 13 series, which is expected to include the Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro models.

As of now, the launch in China is expected to be on November 25.

Oppo Reno 13 Pro – Expected Specifications

According to the Digital Chat Station post, the Reno 13 Pro will likely run on MediaTek’s unreleased Dimensity 8350 processor.

Earlier rumours hinted at the Dimensity 9300, but this latest update points to a different choice.

This processor would be a slight downgrade from the Dimensity 9200+ used in the Reno 12 Pro’s Chinese version. As for memory, the highest configuration might offer 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

The Reno 13 Pro is expected to feature a large quad-curved 6.83-inch display.

Nothing has finally announced that the Nothing OS 3.0 open beta will launch on November 6 for the Nothing Phone (2). This new update is based on Android 15 and brings a range of major improvements.

Samsung is also set to have its next lineup released in 2025, which means we are getting tons of speculations about what to expect from the brand.

Recently, a report in a Korean online publication suggested that Samsung is planning to release a more budget-friendly Galaxy Z Flip model in 2025.

Moreover, the Korean manufacturer will also release versions of the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy Z Fold 7.

This is now being viewed as Samsung’s attempt to boost its popularity in the foldable segment, which isn’t growing as swiftly as the brand initially expected.

According to a report from Lanzuk on Naver, Samsung has plans for three new additions in 2025. These include the Galaxy S25 Slim as was reported last week, a Galaxy Z Flip FE and a new variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 7.

While some may doubt the authenticity of this claim, the claims were supported by tech insiders @Jukanlosreve and Max Jambor on X (previously Twitter). Jambor further noted that there will be at least one new foldable in Samsung’s lineup for 2025.

The Galaxy Z Flip is currently the most affordable foldable from Samsung in the market. However, its price increased to $1,099 with the Galaxy Z Flip 6 release.

Meanwhile, competitors like Motorola have been offering foldables at lower price points such as the Motorola Razr (2024), which costs just $699.

This competitive pricing from other brands could also be the reason Samsung decided to offer a cheaper Galaxy Z Flip option.

If you are a fan of one of Netflix’s interactive shows, this latest update may be disappointing to you.

According to a recent report on The Verge, Netflix will be removing most of its interactive shows portfolio from the platform by December 1.

The streaming platform currently offers 24 interactive specials, but only four of these will remain available after the cut.

The titles staying include the most well-known ones: Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs. the Reverend, Ranveer vs. Wild with Bear Grylls, and You vs. Wild.

These popular shows will continue to be accessible to viewers.

However, other interactive specials based on Carmen Sandiego, Boss Baby and Puss in Boots will be removed. Notably, Puss in Book: Trapped in an Epic Tale was Netflix’s first interactive special debuting even before Bandersnatch became a hit.

This move marks the end of an era for Netflix’s interactive content, which the company had once said it would “double down” on. Netflix spokesperson Chrissy Kelleher explained that while the feature had “served its purpose,” it was now limiting Netflix’s shift toward other technological efforts.

Mike Verdu, Netflix’s former head of gaming, previously confirmed that the company wasn’t planning to create any more interactive specials.

Swiggy Ordered to Pay Rs 35,453 in Fines For Overcharging Hyderabad Customer

The District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission in Ranga Reddy has ruled against Swiggy for unfair trade practices involving inflated delivery distances leading to extra charges for a customer.

The commission found Swiggy guilty and ordered the company to pay a total of Rs 35,453 to the complainant. Here’s the complete story.

Emmadi Suresh Babu, who lives in Hyderabad, filed the complaint against Swiggy after he bought a “Swiggy One membership” that promises free delivery within a specified distance.

On 1st November 2023, when Babu ordered food from Swiggy, it allegedly increased the delivery distance from 9.7 kilometres to 14 kilometres, which resulted in a delivery fee of Rs 103 despite the membership benefits.

After Bubu’s complaint, the consumer court examined evidence including screenshots from Google Maps provided by Babu. This evidence showed a notable increase in the delivery distance.

Swiggy did not attend the hearings allowing the court to proceed based on Babu’s affidavit and supporting documents.

In the order, the consumer court mandated Swiggy to refund Rs 350.48 with 9 per cent interest from the date of filing.

Apart from this, the app will also have to refund the additional Rs 103 charged for delivery.

The court also ordered Swiggy to pay Rs 5,000 for mental distress and inconvenience, cover Rs 5,000 in litigation costs and cease inflating delivery distances for Swiggy One members.

Moreover, Swiggy is ordered to deposit Rs 25,000 as punitive damages into the Consumer Welfare Fund of the Ranga Reddy District Commission.

The company has 45 days to comply with this ruling.

In another instance highlighted on social media, the platform allegedly increased its platform fee from ₹6 to ₹10 just head the Hindu festival of Diwali.

Similarly, Zomato also raised its platform fee from ₹7 to ₹10 before the festival period.

Many users on social media highlighted that contrary to Swiggy and Zomato, Magicpin has lowered its platform charges to ₹5 per delivery as confirmed by a company official as well.

In other news, Swiggy is also preparing for its initial public offering (IPO) set to launch on November 6.

The platform is aiming to raise over Rs 11,000 crore from the primary market as the IPO has generated substantial interest from investors with bids from Norges, Norway’s sovereign wealth fund and Fidelity reportedly exceeding $15 billion, which is 25 times the $605 million portion designated for such investors.

There have been multiple speculations regarding upcoming Apple display tech with some reports suggesting ProMotion displays with 120Hz refresh rate on the way for iPhones.

However, the recent reports about displays we are getting are not for iPhones but other Apple products.

A new rumour recently emerged indicating that Apple is working on a 90Hz display, which is potentially intended for the upcoming iPad Air, 24-inch iMac and Studio Display.

This speculation was shared by an anonymous source who contacted the Upgrade podcast, hosted by Myke Hurley and Jason Snell.

All current iPad Air, 24-inch iMac and Studio Display models all feature displays with 60Hz refresh rates.

According to this recent rumour, the new 90Hz display will first be introduced with the M3 iPad Air and later extend to the 24-inch iMac and Studio Display.

The anonymous source provided this insight to the Upgrade podcast, saying, “I have news on screen improvements for the next generation of the M3 iPad Air. Apple is working on a higher refresh rate LCD display with a new liquid motion panel fixed at around 90Hz. They’re also working on expanding it to other models or products like a 24-inch iMac and a next-gen studio display.”

Previously, we have had analyst Ross Young mention that the entire iPhone 17 lineup will feature ProMotion displays with support for 120Hz refresh rates.

However, if recent rumours turn out to be true then this will be the first indication of Apple’s development of 90Hz display technology for its other devices.
