Smart electronics brand oraimo has launched first ever convertible Earbuds – FreePods 3 for the very demanding Indian customer.

The oraimo FreePods 3 are super cool gadget for people wanting to buy an affordable yet premium audio wearable in high quality. The brand oraimo, with a presence in 50+ countries around the world and over 100 million users, always on top of innovation, loves to offer the unthinkable. They are now offering a new convertible feature that is set to take the already pleasing listening experience on their FreePods 3 to a whole new level of pleasure.

With the launch of the new FreePods 3, oraimo has become the first smart electronics maker to produce a convertible earbud with Bass & Awareness mode, across the globe and now in India.

Two feels in a pod

The FreePods 3 come with two different modes that users can switch to seamlessly. Both modes offer unique experiences that fit perfectly into researched user preferences. Some users, like me, enjoy blocking all of the noise out and travelling into another world when listening to music with their earbuds. Users like us will find the Bass mode to be more ideal.

The Bass Mode

The “in-ear” is the bass mode which keeps out ambient noise and prevents every form of air leakage to boost the bass from any audio output when users listen. This mode has proven to be great for watching movies as it creates a cinematic audio experience that is thoroughly enjoyable. It can also be perfect for meditation exercises as it helps avoid any form of distraction.

For Sound, oraimo has introduced an all-new exclusive sound technology called HavyBass, the oraimo exclusive bass boost system, which will be applied in oraimo audio products.

They have collaborated with world class audio engineers who used to work in Harman Kardon, to deliver the best sound quality.

The Awareness Mode

If you like to be aware of your environment whilst listening to music on your morning jog routines, you might want to get the oraimo FreePods 3 and have a feel of the Awareness Mode, half in-ear mode. This mode allows you to adapt to your surroundings without losing the rich quality of the music as it slips into your ears.

oraimo has taken the listening experience to increasingly new heights for its users ever since it launched its smart audio accessory line of products. The brand was the first to launch this TWS feature in the Indian market and has not rested on its oars ever since.

oraimo has gained staunchly devoted supporters and advocates over the years because of its indubitable reputation for creating the most reliable smart phone accessories. This is true for all the brand’s line of products. From smartwatch to power banks, speaker, and down to FreePods.

oraimo continues to solve the problem of access to durable smart electronics for users in India through its thousands of retail partners. As oraimo continues to push its excellent service delivery beyond the envelope, its customers will only continue to enjoy smart electronics delivered at best.

This impressive pair of FreePods 3 is available to customer at the best price of INR 2,450.

Twitter may soon allow you to reply to tweets with separate threads

0

Microblogging platform Twitter is said to be coming up with a new feature that would let you reply to tweets with an entire new tweet thread of your own. As per reports, this feature is in the testing phase as of now and could take some time before being rolled out on Android and iOS.

Jan Manchun Wong, an engineer at Twitter, dropped a hint of this feature by sharing a screenshot of the new interface that would allow users to add to their tweet thread.

The upcoming feature will be of a great help to people who intend to have conversations that somewhat start deviating from the main topic, without hampering them.

However, it is, at present, not clear how the company looks to handle notifications, in a way that it does not affect the original poster or other users following the tweet, as per reports.

Interestingly, the upcoming feature is said to be perfect for people who love having lengthy and detailed interactions, but the 280 character limit works as a deterrent. If you are interested, you can continue on that single thread that prevents the original tweet and interactions from getting cluttered.

Meta announces security updates in Russia and Ukraine

0

After rolling out additional privacy and security protections in Ukraine, Meta has announced to add them in Russia as well. The decision has been taken in response to public reports targeting civil society and protesters.

Account Security

To protect themselves from being targeted by threat actors, Meta has recommended that people in Ukraine and Russia must take steps to strengthen the security of their online accounts.

They have been advised to be cautious while accepting friend requests and opening links and files from strangers and must refrain from using the same passwords across different services to prevent malicious hackers from gaining access to your information. Users have been recommended to use two-factor authentication on all online accounts.

Lock Your Profile

It is a one-step measure to lock your profile. Once you lock your profile unknown people cannot download enlarge or share profile photos, nor can they see posts or other photos on someone’s profile, regardless of when they posted it.

Meta has also said that their teams are working with civil society organizations to help ensure people know these tools are available.

Friends Lists

To help protect people from being targeted, Meta has temporarily removed the ability to view and search the friends’ lists of Facebook accounts.

Instagram Privacy and Security Reminders

Meta has started sending, a notification at the top of the feed about privacy and account security on Instagram. For public accounts, Meta is reminding people to check their settings in case they want to make their accounts private.

When someone makes their account private, any new followers will need to be approved, and only their followers will be able to see their posts and stories. Also, they are sharing tips on how to keep private accounts secure through strong passwords and two-factor authentication.

Coordinated inauthentic behavior

In the last 48 hours, Meta has taken down a relatively small network of about 40 accounts, Pages and Groups on Facebook and Instagram. They were operated from Russia and Ukraine and targeted people in Ukraine across multiple social media platforms and through their own websites.  The information has also been shared with other tech platforms, researchers, and governments.

This network used fake accounts and operated fictitious personas and brands across the internet — including on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Telegram, Odnoklassniki and VK — to appear more authentic in an apparent attempt to withstand scrutiny by platforms and researchers.

These fictitious personas used profile pictures likely generated using artificial intelligence techniques like generative adversarial networks (GAN). They claimed to be based in Kyiv and posed as news editors, a former aviation engineer, and an author of a scientific publication on hydrography — the science of mapping water. This operation ran a handful of websites masquerading as independent news outlets, publishing claims about the West betraying Ukraine and Ukraine is a failed state.

Hacking attempts by ghostwriter

In the past several days, ghostwriters have also started targeting people in Ukraine, including Ukrainian military and public figures. They target people through email compromise and then use that to gain access to their social media accounts and post disinformation as if it’s coming from the legitimate account owners.

Meta has detected attempts to target people on Facebook to post YouTube videos portraying Ukrainian troops as weak and surrendering to Russia.

Meta has also blocked phishing domains these hackers used to try to trick people in Ukraine into compromising their online accounts.
