Although the launch of the iPhone SE 4 is not expected anytime before 2024, the conjecture around the fourth-generation SE has been gaining traction ever since its previous version was unveiled for the markets this year.
According to recent rumours, Chinese tech site MyDrivers and popular tipster Jon Prosser have claimed that iPhone SE 4 is going to be in line with iPhone XR in the design department. And it has already been guessed that iPhone SE 4 will have the latest A16 Bionic chip, expected to be unveiled with the launch of Apple’s 2023 iPhone 15 lineup.

Amidst all the speculations, Apple inside Ross Young has recently claimed that Apple is still in its feature evaluation phase for the SE 4, which is why many answered questions are looming. So, while we wait for an official confirmation from Apple, let’s dig into the three unanswered questions about the phone as of now.
As per the latest reveal by Apple Inside Ross Young, the brand is currently pondering over two options – 5.7 inches or 6.1 inches display size. Since the iPhone XR was presented with a 6.1 inch display, tech enthusiasts all across strongly appear to be believing that iPhone SE 4 will also most likely have a 6.1 inch screen size.
Tech analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has also confirmed that the brand was supposedly working with the screen size in mind.

Another unanswered question about iPhone SE 4 remains is the type of display. Many tech bloggers have speculated that keeping things in line with previous SE models, the upcoming fourth-generation version will also sport an LCD display. However, the chances of Apple planning to shake things up and change the display to OLED are also high. They have already used OLED in iPhone 12 and iPhone 13.
If the reports of SE 4 sporting a design like iPhone XR are true then it is obvious that SE 4 is not getting the capacitive Home button for a Touch ID. In that case, this version will either have the Touch ID Side button or the second option is to have the Face ID security feature. Again, no final word has come out from the brand as of now and thus, this too remains one of the major unanswered questions around the device.
