Oppo has officially confirmed the launch of its next-generation K-series smartphones in China. The brand will unveil the Oppo K15 Pro and Oppo K15 Pro+ on April 1, alongside new wearables including the Oppo Watch X3 Mini and Oppo Enco Clip 2.
The launch date was revealed via an official Weibo post, confirming that the Oppo K15 Pro and K15 Pro+ will debut in China on April 1. The naming also suggests that Oppo may have dropped the “Turbo” branding in favour of a more premium “Pro” positioning.
The new lineup is expected to succeed the earlier K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro smartphones. Interestingly, while Oppo introduced the K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro models in China last year, the company appears to have skipped the K14 lineup in its home market. This comes even as India recently received select K14 series devices, indicating a shift in regional strategy.
Recent teasers hint at a strategic repositioning, with Oppo aiming to place the K15 Pro series within the “trendsetter” category. Industry insiders believe the shift from Turbo to Pro branding reflects a more premium approach to the mid-range performance segment.
One of the standout features teased for the lineup is the inclusion of an active cooling fan across all models. This hardware addition is expected to help maintain consistent performance during extended gaming sessions by preventing thermal throttling, making the devices appealing to mobile gaming enthusiasts.
As per TENAA certification details, the Oppo K15 Pro+ is expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display with a resolution of 2772 x 1272 pixels and a 165Hz refresh rate. It is likely to be powered by the Dimensity 9500s chipset with a peak clock speed of 3.73GHz.
For cameras, the Pro+ variant is said to include a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, along with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. It is also expected to pack a massive 8,000mAh battery.
The standard Oppo K15 Pro is tipped to feature a slightly smaller 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display, which may also support a 165Hz refresh rate. It is expected to run on the Dimensity 8500 processor with a maximum clock speed of 3.4GHz.
In terms of cameras, the K15 Pro is likely to offer the same setup as the Pro+ model. Despite its relatively compact design, the device is expected to house a large 7,500mAh battery while weighing under 200 grams. The thickness is said to be around 8.3mm.

Alongside the smartphones, Oppo will also introduce the Oppo Watch X3 Mini and Oppo Enco Clip 2 in China on the same day. Pre-reservations for both devices have already begun in the country.
The Oppo Watch X3 Mini is expected to be a smaller version of the Oppo Watch X3, which was launched alongside the Oppo Find N6 smartphone. Meanwhile, the Oppo Enco Clip 2 will arrive as the brand’s second-generation open-ear clip-on earbuds.
Both wearables have been showcased in a gold colour variant. Oppo has also confirmed that the Enco Clip 2 will be offered in a special Sun Yingsha customised gift box. This limited-edition package will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The customised gift box includes a personalised headphone bag, customised wipe pendants, and a customised mirror.
