After a long wait, the big day has finally arrived as the Vivo S16 series of smartphones, Vivo S16, Vivo S16 Pro, and Vivo S16e, have finally been launched in China, which has left many users excited at the prospects of trying out some new devices from Vivo.
All three are the new flagship models of the company that will add another feather to the overcrowded cap of Vivo as the Chinese tech giant has a slew of other devices lined up for 2023 but once the price and features of these three handsets were revealed, it immediately piqued the interests of many users.
Vivo S16 Specifications
To begin with, Vivo S16 comes with a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display screen, along with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2400×1800 pixel resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR 10+, and lastly, it is powered by the Snapdragon 870 7nm Mobile Platform that comes with an Adreno 650 GPU, while the storage variant is up to 12GB RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 internal configuration.
Vivo V16 runs on Android 13-based OriginOS custom skin out of the box, while for security you have an in-display fingerprint sensor, and the battery capacity is 4,600mAh units that comes with a 66W fast charging support.
Coming to optics, Vivo S16 comes with a 64MP primary camera with f/1.89 aperture, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), LED flash, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture, while the front camera is 50MP with a dual soft LED flash.

It comes with the same display screen and refresh rate as Vivo S16 but it is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8200 4nm processor paired with Mali-G610 MC6 GPU, up to 12GB RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage configuration.
S16 Pro also runs on Android 13-based OriginOS and has the same battery capacity and charging support as Vivo S16, although its optical features are somewhat different.
Vivo S16 Pro comes with a 50MP Sony IMX776V primary sensor with f/1.88 aperture, Optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture, while the 50MP shooter at the front is for taking selfies.

Vivo S16e comes with a 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED display screen, along with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2400×1800 pixel resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR10+, while it is powered by Exynos 1080 5nm processor with Mali-G78 MP10 GPU, with its storage capacity being 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
It also runs on Android-13-based OriginOS like its two counterparts, while its optical features include a 50MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and LED flash, 2MP portrait primary and 2MP macro lens, while the 16MP shooter at the front is for selfies.
Its battery capacity is 4,600mAh units that comes with a 66W fast charging support and it also has an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, while there is also the Bluetooth 5.2, GPS+ GLONASS, and USB-Type C port.
