New details of the alleged Redmi Note 13 Pro+ have been leaked by popular Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station. In October 2022, Redmi unveiled the Redmi Note 12, Note 12 Pro, and Note 12 Pro+.
It is speculated that the company will announce the Redmi Note 13, Note 13 Pro, and Note 13 Pro+ in October this year in the home market.
In a recent Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station talked about a mid-range phone by Xiaomi featuring a 200-megapixel camera.
He is likely talking about the Note 13 Pro+. The tipster also revealed some more details about the device aside from its primary camera.
The Redmi Note 12 series has been quite popular, but Xiaomi is deep in the development of its successor.
The top-end Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus model in the upcoming Redmi Note 13 series should have some stellar hardware, leaked specifications and schematics have revealed.

The Redmi Note 13 series has already surfaced in the IMEI database. Thereafter, prolific and reliable tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) revealed the schematics of an upcoming Xiaomi smartphone but didn’t reveal the device’s name.
The Weibo account has now confirmed the schematics belong to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus model and added key specifications of the upcoming Redmi Note 13 series smartphone.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus won’t have a straight screen with narrow bezels, as previously rumored. Xiaomi has chosen to offer a curved display on the Redmi Note 13 smartphone, the latest leak claims.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus is tipped to have an extremely narrow frame, a feature that’s usually reserved for high-end smartphones.
Additionally, it could be Redmi’s first curved-edge display phone. The screen is tipped to support a 1.5K resolution, which could have a 120Hz refresh rate.
It appears Xiaomi is now offering the camera hardware and specifications of the Xiaomi 13 series smartphones to the top-end smartphones in the Redmi Note 13 series.
With an identical camera cut, the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus should have a triple camera setup on the back.
DCS has implied that Xiaomi will embed a 200MP lens which will serve as the primary rear camera, in the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus.
The upcoming Redmi smartphone will feature support for 4x in-sensor zoom, he added. A centered punch hole on the top should house the front-facing camera.
Redmi Note 13 Pro + Specifications
A previous report revealed that the upcoming smartphones will have a 6.7-inch OLED display with a single punch-hole.
DCS revealed that Xiaomi would equip the display with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The upcoming device is also tipped to be backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 120W fast wired charging support.
Xiaomi will equip the device with an extremely narrow flexible OLED screen without plastic brackets.
The device is expected to feature a flagship four-narrow-edge design.
The upcoming smartphones will run on MIUI 15 based on Android OS out of the box.
Xiaomi has already started testing the MIUI 15 software. The Alpha testing of the MIUI 15 is live in China.
The software lists the names 23.5.22 and 23.7.22. The name indicates the dates on which the Alpha builds are rolled out.
Xiaomi started rolling out the Alpha builds on May 22. The Xiaomiui report revealed that the MIUI 15 could be based on Android 13 and Android 14.

Recently, a smartphone with the model number 2312DRAABC has been listed in the IMEI database.
The reports on the web suggest the forthcoming device will be one of the upcoming Redmi Note 13 series smartphones.
The IMEI listing didn’t reveal any other specifications of the upcoming device. Another two Redmi Note 13 series smartphones with model numbers 2312DRAABG and 23090RA98G were recently listed on the EEC certification website.
The G in the model number denotes the global variant of the smartphones.
