Ahead of the iPhone 16 series launch, SellCell has surveyed 2000+ US adults who are iPhone owners to find out if they will invest in the forthcoming Apple handset, and ask why they will / won’t upgrade to the 16-series model.
Key findings
Pricing is the top factor influencing the decision to purchase the new iPhone 16, with 9% of the 2,000 surveyed citing cost as a key motivator for upgrading.
The second most desired feature among surveyed iPhone users (26.8%) is thermal control to prevent overheating, which would positively impact their decision to buy.
A significant 61.9% of Apple fans plan to upgrade to the iPhone 16 upon its release.

That same stat suggests that 45% want the same size or smaller. Looking at the survey results, size was only the 5th most important thing.

It is different from Google’s Super Res Zoom, which enhances zoomed-in photos as you take them.
Have you ever snapped a photo and later wished you’d zoomed in more or framed it better? In such cases, the usual fix we have would be to just crop the image.
But now, with the new Zoom Enhance feature, we can go beyond simple cropping.
The feature also improves the quality of both zoomed-in and un-zoomed photos.
If you own a Pixel 8 Pro (or receive a Pixel 9 soon), you’ll find the Zoom Enhance feature in the Google Photos app under the Tools section.
