OnePlus 11 is going to be officially launched today in China i.e. January 4, 2023 after many months of wait by the consumers, while music lovers too have a reason to celebrate as the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 TWS is also launching alongside it in full glory.

The smartphone model will get an Indian release on February 7, 2023, a month after its launch in its home country and it will also be OnePlus’ premium offering that will have upgraded features like reimagined cameras and a new spec sheet, while the launch event will take place live at 2:30PM China time (12PM IST) on Weibo, a Chinese microblogging platform.

“The fast and smooth performance is in OnePlus’ DNA,” said Louis Li, President of OnePlus China, “the OnePlus 11 5G continues to be the pioneer in terms of smartphone performance.”

There are high expectations that OnePlus 11 will be launched in the premium segment, while the price rate hasn’t been revealed for China, although its price in India is speculated to be around Rs.60,000 and in two colour options viz. Black and Green, which have to be officially confirmed.

Google Chrome Plans to Block Fake HTTP Downloads

Google Chrome is the most reliable and, therefore, the most used search engine we have today where people simply have to type the keywords they want to search and press ‘Enter’, following which many solutions pop up in the form of articles and blogs.

As of late, there have been numerous HTTP downloads that are deemed dangerous due to which Google Chrome is working on this new development where user data will be protected from such fake HTTP downloads.

Most of the secure websites are using HTTPS encryption but Chrome is firm on blocking all HTTP downloads so that users can browse in a safe and secure manner, while currently, the browser has only a handful of security features where you have mixed elements, along with an “Always use secure connections” toggle in the security settings.

If recent reports are anything to go by, there was a new code change spotted online with a feature that warns users regarding insecure downloads from sites via HTTP, while the browser comes with a ‘Not Secure’ warning for older websites that are HTTP-encrypted in the address bar.

The browser will block all downloads that it deems unsafe even if the HTTP encrypted website redirects users to a server with an insecure HTTP for download so that the user is taken to another secure HTTPS connection but if the webpage is available only via HTTP encryption, all the downloads from the site will be blocked by Chrome.

Google Chrome plans to bring this new update with Chrome 111 that comes out in a few months in March 2023 where it will soon undergo testing to make sure that it will be safe for use once it is launched, while Chrome could bring out more information about it very soon.

Apple will soon be launching the iPhone 15 series in 2023 that comprises of iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Ultra, iPhone SE 4, iOS 17. The company’s smartphones remain the biggest portion of its phenomenal business where they account for more than half of tech giant’s sales at $394.3 billion in the 2022 fiscal year.

As usual, there are numerous rumours circulating around the upcoming series that is expected to come out during fall season, less than a year after the launch of iPhone 14 series.

iPhone 15 Series Set to Come out in 2023

Apple’s iPhone 15 series is arguably the most awaited model of 2023 that is expected to come out during fall season, which will be enough for people to make their own speculations regarding the series.

Whatever lies in store for Apple in 2023 might begin and end with the iPhone 15 series where even a spring iPhone has been strongly speculated. Prior to the release of iPhone 15, iPhone SE 4 seems to be in works as well that may hit the market first around early to mid-2023.

There are ample reasons for introducing a new device in the iPhone SE series as the current model has a similar design to iPhone 8, which includes the big bezels and other things, but the problem was that many people thought it looked out of synchronization with times in 2022.

Apple seeks to end its App store monopoly by opening up the iPhone to third-party app stores where reports are suggesting that Apple may have something in place for outside apps by the time iOS 17 is launched.

The Dynamic Island feature will find its way into the iPhone 15 model in 2023 but an added bonus from Apple for people intending to go for iPhone 15 Pro is the USB-Type C charging port where they can avail faster data transfer rates.

There have been many people pitting iPhone 15 with iPhone 15 Pro, which is similar to the iPhone 14 Vs iPhone 14 Pro where there were modest changes made in the base model in the 2022 model where iPhone 14 retained the A15 Bionic chip from iPhone 13 Pro.

iPhone SE was launched in March 2022, which was nearly two years after the last iPhone SE update, while Apple introducing new SE models in the coming years could be unprecedented due to the device having a niche audience.

It is likely that Apple launched a new model two years after iPhone SE in 2020 because it wanted a 5G version of the model so that users can avail the new network as soon as possible.

There are many surprises that Apple has planned for 2023, which might include the company’s first ever foldable smartphone that is speculated to be iPhone Flip that might adopt a clamshell-style design that opens up to reveal a folding screen in a similar manner to Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4.
