Chinese smartphone maker iQOO is planning to unveil a new smartphone from its 11 series, but it hasn’t shared anything about the upcoming smartphone yet.
According to reports, the forthcoming iQOO 11S will likely be launched in the third quarter of 2023.
However, ahead of that, tipster Digital Chat Station has come up with new details about the upcoming smartphone, which indicates its key specifications.
iQOO was the first company in India to launch a flagship smartphone with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
The smartphone was launched in January 2023 and performed well in the market. iQOO offered significant discounts during the recent Amazon sales to make it affordable for customers in India.
A month ago, a tipster claimed that iQOO is working on another smartphone in the iQOO 11 series, which will be launched as iQOO 11S.
The tipster had shared the upcoming smartphone’s model number, launch timeline, and key specifications.

While the former was exclusive to China, the standard version rolled out to other markets. Now, MEfMobile in association with noted tipster Paras Guglani exclusively reports that the brand is working on iQ00 11s, which could be a cheaper version of the standard models.
The leak also reveals the launch timeline and key specifications of the phone as well. The IQOO 11s is tipped to bear the model number V2304 for China and the phone will expand to global markets with a different model number.
The iQOO 11 5G was launched as the company’s flagship smartphone in India earlier this year.
The phone comes with some top-of-the-line specifications, including the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, up to 16GB of RAM, 120W fast charging and more.
The company did not launch the 11 Pro 5G in India, which offers a curved AMOLED display and support for wireless charging. The next flagship smartphone launching from the house of iQOO is the 11S 5G.

According to the report, the iQOO 11s will be the world’s first phone to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset but says there are chances the phone might come with other Dimensity 9000-series SoC.
The handset is expected to arrive in two variants: 8GB + 256GB storage and 12GB + 256GB storage.
The iQOO 11s is tipped to arrive with a 6.78-inch E6 AMOLED display with a Quad HD+ resolution, 1440 X 3200 pixels resolution, and probably a punch-hole cutout. Details regarding the cameras, battery and more are currently under wraps.
iQOO 11S Tipped Specifications
The tipster revealed the primary upgrade between the vanilla 11 and the forthcoming 11S would lie between fast charging and performance upgrades.
iQOO is likely to ship the smartphone with a high core frequency version or overclocked version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, built on a 4nm process.
The chipset would resemble the one we saw in the Galaxy S23 series.
Even though the battery capacity is unknown, the tipster said that iQOO would include support for 200W fast charging tech.
iQOO will likely retain the same Samsung E6 AMOLED screen with a 2K resolution. The display will have the same 144Hz refresh rate and will be similar to that in the iQOO 11.
The Chinese OEM will also ship the smartphone with the same 50MP primary rear camera setup with a V2 ISP imaging system.
iQOO is yet to comment on the launch of the upcoming smartphone.

In terms of optics, it is equipped with a triple rear camera setup with a primary 50MP sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 13MP telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom.
iQOO 11S Launch Timeline (Expected)
The iQOO 11S is expected to be unveiled in the third quarter of 2023, which means that the company might launch the smartphone between the month of July and September. Currently, there is no information about the smartphone’s India launch.
In January, the company launched the iQOO 11 in India, which was first unveiled in China in December 2022 with features like a 6.78-inch QHD+ display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset, Android 13, up to 512GB storage option and much more.
