In a move set to delight cloud storage enthusiasts, Google has kicked off 2024 with a bang, offering a significant discount on its Google One subscription.
Here’s everything you need to know about snagging this lucrative deal.
Google One, the tech giant’s cloud storage service, is currently available at an eye-catching 70 percent discount.
This offer is a part of a special promotion to start the year 2024 and is available across all platforms – Android, iOS, and desktop.
The most affordable plan in India, originally priced at Rs 130 per month for 100GB, is now up for grabs at just Rs 35 per month.
This incredible price is valid for three months, after which the standard rate of Rs 130 per month will resume.
Similarly, the 200GB plan, typically costing Rs 210 per month, is currently offered at Rs 50 per month for the same three-month period.
For those requiring even more space, the 2TB Drive plan, usually at Rs 650 per month, is now astonishingly available for just Rs 160 per month during this promotional period.
These rather extreme reductions in prices, even though for just 90 days, are, in our opinion, unmissable opportunities for users to upgrade their storage capacity.
But not everyone can get this offer as Google has set forth some eligibility rules.
It’s important to highlight that this offer is exclusively for users who have never subscribed to Google One before.
As mentioned before, the deal covers all Google One plans but is only valid for the first three months of subscription.
This discount is particularly timely, given WhatsApp’s recent announcement.
Starting in early 2024, WhatsApp backups will count against the Google Drive storage quota.
Previously, WhatsApp backups did not consume any space on Google Drive.
With this change, there’s an anticipated surge in demand for more cloud storage, and Google’s offer seems perfectly timed to meet this new need.
Google has introduced a special promotion, offering a 70% discount on its Google One cloud storage service.
This offer is applicable across various platforms including Android, iOS, and desktop, and is intended for users who are subscribing to Google One for the first time.
During this promotional period, the 100GB plan is available at Rs 35 per month, down from Rs 130.
The 200GB plan costs Rs 50 per month, reduced from Rs 210, and the 2TB plan is priced at Rs 160 per month, originally Rs 650. These prices are valid for the first three months of subscription.
This steep discount on Google One subscriptions is exclusively available to new users who have never subscribed to Google One before.
The offer is limited to the first three months of the subscription period.
The timing of Google’s offer coincides with WhatsApp’s new policy, where WhatsApp backups will start counting against the Google Drive storage quota.
This change is expected to increase the demand for cloud storage, making Google’s offer particularly attractive.
