Telecom operator Vodafone Idea (Vi) has launched the Vi One bundle. It allows users to combine mobile recharge, OTT subscriptions, and broadband connection into a unified plan, similar to Airtel Black, which was introduced in July 2021.

Vodafone Idea (Vi) is the newest telecom operator in India to release an all-in-one recharge bundle.

It has silently launched Vi One bundle (via:TelecomTalk) that combines mobile recharge, OTT subscriptions, and high-speed broadband in a single connection. It is similar to Airtel Black which was announced in July 2021.

Vi One Recharge Plans and Benefits

As mentioned in the beginning, Vi One is an all-in-one plan meant to save the hassle of paying separate bills for different services.
It lets users merge mobile recharge, OTT subscription, and broadband connection into a single plan. In other words, users will get just one bill for using all these services.

Vi One currently has four recharge plans to choose from. There are two plans with 93 days validity priced at Rs 2,192 and Rs 3,109. The other two plans cost Rs 8,390 and Rs 12,155 for 368 days of validity.

All plans offer Vi Hero unlimited prepaid recharge featuring unlimited calls, 2GB per day data, and 100 SMS per day. Other benefits for each of the plans are listed below.

The all-new Vi One currently offers four recharge plans for users to select, which have different validity periods and prices.The first two plans have a validity of 93 days and are priced at Rs 2,192 and Rs 3,109, respectively.

The other two plans provide a longer validity period of 368 days and are priced at Rs 8,390 and Rs 12,155.

Regardless of the plan chosen, all of them include Vi Hero unlimited prepaid recharge, offering unlimited calls, 2GB per day data, and 100 SMS per day.

Moreover, all plans include the weekend data rollover and Binge All Night offer.

Vi One vs Airtel Black: What is the Difference?

It goes without saying the Vi One recharge bundle will compete directly with Airtel Black. The latter is a service that has been in existence for two years now and has amassed a number of users.

It offers access to mobile recharge, Airtel Digital TV DTH connection, and Airtel Xstream fiber broadband connection but goes beyond that.

Airtel Black also offers benefits like a dedicated relationship team, priority resolution, call pick-up in 60 seconds, free service visits, and Buy Now and Pay Later on Airtel Shop.

Another best part of the bundle is that it lets users create a custom plan by combining any two or more services (mobile, DTH, and broadband).

Ans) Vodafone Idea has launched a new ‘Vi One’ bundled service wherein the telecom operator’s customers can access fiber and prepaid mobile plans, along with over-the-top (OTT) under a single plan, TelecomTalk reported Friday.

The service is similar to rival Bharti Airtel’s ‘Airtel Black’ service, launched in 2021, which also offers access to fiber, DTH, and mobile services under a single plan.

Airtel Black allows a customer to bundle two or more of Airtel services (fiber, DTH, mobile) together to become Airtel Black – which entitles the customer to one single bill. The entry-level price of Airtel Black is Rs 998/month (2 mobile, 1 DTH connection), going all the way up to Rs 2,099/month (3 mobile, 1 fiber, 1 DTH connection).

Currently, Vi is offering four plans under the Vi One service, with the base plan priced at Rs 2,192, as per the report.

The Vi One Rs 2,912 plan will come with a prepaid SIM that will offer unlimited voice calls, 2GB data/day, and 100 SMS/day along with usual Vi benefits such as Binge All Night.

The fiber service bundled with this plan will offer 40Mbps speed and unlimited data, as well as, OTT benefits such as 90 days of subscription to Disney+ Hotstar Mobile, 90 days subscription to SonyLIV Mobile, Vi Movies & TV VIP, and 90 days subscription to ZEE5. The plan has a validity of 93 days.

The fiber service bundled with this plan offers 100Mbps of speed and unlimited data. OTT benefits are the same as Vi One Rs 2,192 plan. This plan has a validity of 93 days.

The Rs 8,390 Vi One plan is almost similar to the Rs 2,192 Vi One plan. Its bundled fiber service offers 40 Mbps speed with unlimited data. Its OTT benefits include one year of Disney+ Hotstar Mobile, 365 days of SonyLIV Mobile, Vi Movies & TV VIP for one year, and 365 days of ZEE5 subscription. This plan has a validity of 368 days.

The Rs 12,155 Vi One plan offers prepaid SIM with unlimited voice calls, 2GB data/day, and 100 SMS/day, and Binge All Night benefit. Its bundled fiber service offers 100Mbps speed and unlimited data.
