Vivo has officially unveiled its latest Vivo X300 series in China, which includes the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro. Both smartphones come powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset and bring a host of performance, camera, and design upgrades over their predecessors. Here’s everything we know about the phones, starting with price and availability.
In China, the Vivo X300 starts at CNY 4,399 (approx. ₹54,700) for the 12GB + 256GB model, while the 16GB + 256GB variant costs CNY 4,699 (approx. ₹58,400). The 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB configurations are priced at CNY 4,999 (approx. ₹62,100), CNY 5,299 (approx. ₹65,900), and CNY 5,799 (approx. ₹72,900), respectively.
The phone comes in Free Blue, Comfortable Purple, Pure Black, and Lucky Colour finishes (translated from Chinese).
The Vivo X300 Pro starts at CNY 5,299 (approx. ₹65,900) for the 12GB + 256GB version. The 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB variants are priced at CNY 5,999 (approx. ₹74,600) and CNY 6,699 (approx. ₹83,300), respectively. There’s also a 16GB + 1TB Satellite Communication Edition, priced at CNY 8,299 (approx. ₹1,03,200).

The Pro model will be available in Wilderness Brown, Simple White, Free Blue, and Pure Black colourways.
Both models are now available for pre-order and will go on sale in China starting October 17.
The Vivo X300 Pro features a 6.78-inch 1.5K (2,800×1,216 pixels) flat BOE Q10+ LTPO OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and Circular Polarisation 2.0 for improved outdoor visibility. Under the hood, it runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC, paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. It comes preloaded with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.

In the camera department, the X300 Pro boasts a triple rear setup featuring a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor with OIS, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens, and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera with OIS. The setup supports Zeiss’ 2.35× telephoto teleconverter as an optional add-on. Vivo’s V3+ (post-processing) and VS1 (pre-processing) imaging chips handle image optimisation.
On the front, the device sports a 50MP Samsung JN1 selfie camera.

The smartphone houses a 6,510mAh battery that supports 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. For security, it includes an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. Other highlights include dual stereo speakers, the largest X-axis linear motor in the X-series, an Action Button, a signal amplifier chip, and 4 Wi-Fi boosters.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port. The device also carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The X300 Pro measures 161.98×75.48×7.99mm and weighs 226 grams.

The standard Vivo X300 shares much of its hardware with the Pro variant including the Dimensity 9500 processor, OriginOS 6, and security and connectivity features. However, it comes in a more compact form factor, measuring 150.57×71.92×7.95mm and weighing 190 grams.

It features a 6.31-inch 1.5K (2,640×1,216 pixels) BOE Q10+ LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device packs a slightly smaller 6,040mAh battery, though it retains support for 90W wired and 40W wireless charging.
In terms of cameras, the X300 carries a 50MP Samsung JN1 front sensor, while the rear module houses a 200MP Samsung HPB primary camera with OIS, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP Sony LYT-602 periscope telephoto shooter. Like the Pro, it also supports the Zeiss 2.35× telephoto teleconverter and includes the V3+ imaging chip for superior image processing.
