Twitter Plans to Give Gold Checkmarks for Business Accounts

Now the latest news doing the rounds is that Twitter has introduced gold checkmarks for business accounts, while the official label for business accounts will be replaced and gold checkmarks will replace the blue checkmarks that are currently being used in official accounts.

The gold checkmark will indicate that the Business account is official through Twitter Blue for business, although the company was quick to clarify that not all blue checkmarks will be replaced by gold ones.

Also, Twitter will also be adding a gray checkmark for all government and multilateral accounts, which will help it differentiate from other checkmarks of different colours.
