Vivo is finally bringing its latest foldable smartphone, the Vivo X Fold 6, to global markets after launching it in China earlier. The new foldable combines large high-refresh-rate displays with a slim and lightweight design, upgraded cameras and several software features aimed at productivity.
The global version, however, is slightly different from the Chinese model in some specs. While the China variant comes with a 7,000mAh battery, the global version has a 6,900mAh battery. It also ships with OriginOS 7 Fold, while the Chinese model runs OriginOS 6. Here’s everything you need to know about the global availability of this next-gen Vivo foldable.
Vivo X Fold 6 Price and Availability
Vivo has confirmed the global launch of the X Fold 6 but the company has not yet announced its international price or specific availability for individual markets.
Vivo says pricing and availability details will be revealed separately depending on each market.
The global Vivo X Fold 6 will be available in Prism Black and Horizon Blue colour options. The available storage and RAM configurations may also vary depending on the market.
Vivo X Fold 6 – Specifications
The Vivo X Fold 6 features an 8.02-inch 2K+ LTPO AMOLED inner display with a resolution of 2,504 x 2,312 pixels. On the outside, it has a 6.51-inch cover display with a 2,528 x 1,120-pixel resolution. Both screens support an adaptive refresh rate of 1-120Hz, Dolby Vision and up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness.
The foldable is powered by the 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition chipset. It comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
The phone runs OriginOS 7 Fold based on Android 17 and includes productivity tools such as Multi-Task Workbench, Multi-Split Screen and AI Cross-App Drag. Other AI features include AI Meeting Assistant, AI File Manager, AI Reader Mode and the Jovi AI agent.
X Fold 6 has a 200-megapixel primary camera with OIS and ZEISS T* coating. It is joined by a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 50-megapixel 3x periscope telephoto camera. Both the inner and cover displays have 20-megapixel selfie cameras. The camera system also supports 4K video recording at 60fps with Dolby Vision and 100x ZEISS HyperZoom.
The global X Fold 6 packs a 6,900mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging and 40W wireless charging.
In terms of dimensions, the Prism Black version measures just 4.4mm when unfolded and weighs 228 grams. The Horizon Blue variant is 4.8mm thick when unfolded and weighs 235 grams. For durability, the foldable comes with IP58, IP59, IPX8 and IPX9 ratings for dust and water resistance.
