Both Samsung Galaxy A14 5G and Galaxy A23 5G is all set to be launched in India on January 18, 2023, which is welcome news for users as they’ve been waiting anxiously to get more information on the matter.
Along with the launch date, the price of Samsung Galaxy A14 5G (Rs.22,999), along with the specifications of both models have been leaked as well, which was to be expected as Samsung has been dropping numerous hints of the upcoming Galaxy A-Series smartphones for quite sometime.
After months of dropping various hints regarding its upcoming Galaxy A-Series smartphones, Samsung has finally revealed the launch date of two of its flagship models in the series, Samsung Galaxy A14 & Samsung Galaxy A23, both of which are equipped with 5G network.
Samsung had teased the launch of both handsets in India frequently in the past few days on its official website, where it was eventually revealed that Galaxy A14 and Galaxy A23 will be launching on January 18, 2023.
Samsung rolls out dual under display camera system with Facial Recognition
Samsung Galaxy A14 5G was launched for both the American and European markets at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), 2023 around the first week of January where it received good reviews from everyone present at the event.
The smartphone model comes with a 6.6-inch LCD display with Full HD+ resolution, along with a 90Hz refresh rate, which will be powered by the Samsung Exynos 1330 processor and runs on Android 13-based One UI 5.0 out of the box with the added bonus being two major Android updates.
Regarding camera features, it comes with a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 50MP primary camera, 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro camera, while the 13MP selfie camera in the front is perfect for taking selfies.
The battery capacity is 5,000mAh units that comes with a 15W fast charging support and two storage variants viz. 4GB RAM + 64GB and 6GB RAM + 128GB internal configuration, which can be expanded via microSD card, while the connectivity features comprise of dual-band Wi-Fi 5, dual-SIM, 5G, Bluetooth 3.1, GPS, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Samsung Galaxy A23 5G, which was launched 6 months ago in the global market, comes with a 6.6-inch Full HD+ display, along with a 120Hz refresh rate, and side-mounted fingerprint sensor, which is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset, which is different from Galaxy A14.
The camera features include a 50MP rear camera with an optical image stabilization (OIS), 5MP ultra-wide camera, 2MP depth sensor, and 2MP macro camera, while the 8MP selfie camera is at the front that selfie aficionados will take to immediately.
The handset comes in two storage variants- 6GB RAM + 64GB & 8GB RAM + 128GB internal configuration, which also can be expanded via microSD card slot, while the connectivity features include dual-SIM, 5G, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 3.1, GPS, Wi-Fi 5, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
