OnePlus is expanding its audio segment with the OnePlus Buds Clip. The official listing of the OnePlus Buds Clip on the OnePlus website shows the earbuds in three colour options: Pearl White, Pebble Grey, and Twilight Rose. With this latest listing, the brand is preparing to enter the open-ear wireless (OWS) audio segment. Co-created with Dynaudio, the OnePlus Buds Clip earbuds have an open-ear design that clips around the ear instead of sitting inside the ear canal.
OnePlus Buds Clip Features Dynaudio-Tuned Sound
OnePlus Buds Clip is Co-engineered by Dynaduio
OnePlus has collaborated with Danish loudspeaker manufacturer Dynaudio to co-engineer the sound profile for its Buds Clip. The collaboration offers solid tuning, balanced frequencies and optimal dynamic performance across genres.
The OnePlus-Dynaudio collaboration has brought Dynaudio’s signature Sound Master EQ profiles to the companion settings of the earbuds. The partnership means that high-resolution audio formats, including LHDC 5.0 streaming, have spatial accuracy and warm low-end performance in spite of the lack of a traditional sealed ear-canal fit.
How the Six-Microphone AI Bone Conduction Calling Works
The OnePlus Buds Clip has a 6-Mic AI bone call system, ensuring crystal-clear interaction even in unpredictable environments. The device contains two MEMS microphones and one Voice Pick-up Unit (VPU) sensor in each earbud. The sensor detects vocal vibrations directly through cranial bone structure rather than relying strictly on air-conducted sound, isolating your spoken words from surrounding environment noise.

11mm + 9mm Dual Drivers and Dual DACs
The OnePlus Buds Clip features a dual-driver architecture pairing an 11mm primary dynamic driver with a 9mm secondary driver to cover full-range frequencies. The earbuds are supported by dual DAC amplification and high-resolution codecs including LHDC 5.0, AAC, and SBC, offering rich audio performance with a Private Soundstage feature to minimise external sound leakage.
Open-Ear Clip Design
The OnePlus Buds clip mechanism is designed using a flexible Nickel-Titanium (Ni-Ti) memory-shaped wire coated with a soft-touch excimer finish. This makes the earbuds sit comfortably around the outer ear. The lightweight design of the earbuds, weighing 5.2 grams per bud, keeps the ear pressure low for long listening sessions, and comes in Pearl White, Pebble Grey and Twilight Rose colours.
Up to 40 Hours of Battery Life
The OnePlus Buds Clip combines a 58mAh battery per earbud and a 530mAh charging case, providing up to 40 hours of playback in AAC audio mode or up to 36 hours in high-bitrate LHDC mode. The earbuds alone last up to 9.5 hours of continuous music playback on a single charge in standard AAC mode.
IP55 Rating, AI Translate and Dual-Device Connection
The OnePlus Buds Clip holds an IP55 rating, ensuring the buds are protected from dust and splashes and easily handle workouts, sweat, and unpredictable outdoor weather. The earbuds support real-time AI translation directly through voice commands when paired with compatible OxygenOS smartphones. The OnePlus Buds Clip offers Bluetooth 6.1 dual-device connection support so that users can switch the buds smoothly between smartphones, laptops and tablets.
