iPhone 18 Pro has been mentioned in multiple leaks and rumours so far. Thanks to the updates, we know quite a few details about the upcoming iPhone lineup. However, the latest leak is giving us an early look at Apple’s next-generation flagship smartphones and their refreshed colour lineup. Here’s more on that.

iPhone 18 Pro Dummy Units Leaks

A new leak has revealed dummy models of the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro series and there is not much new to talk about other than the colours. The leaked images show iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max dummy units in multiple shades including Black, Silver, Light Blue and a new Dark Cherry finish.

Based on the leaked images, the overall rear design of the iPhone 18 Pro series appears largely similar to the iPhone 17 Pro lineup. However, Apple is expected to introduce several new colour options to differentiate the upcoming models from their predecessors.

For comparison, the iPhone 17 Pro series was previously tipped to launch in Silver, Deep Blue, and Cosmic Orange shades.

Among the newly leaked colours, the Dark Cherry variant is expected to become the standout option in the lineup. According to the source behind the leak, this deep red finish could emerge as Apple’s next popular signature colour similar to the attention received by the Cosmic Orange shade of the iPhone 17 Pro.

The Silver version appears to closely resemble the finish seen on the iPhone 17 Pro models. Meanwhile, Apple is reportedly bringing back a true black-looking variant something many users have been requesting for years.

The Light Blue colour option is said to replace the Deep Blue finish from the previous generation and reportedly resembles the Sierra Blue colour introduced with the iPhone 13 Pro series.

As for the Dark Cherry finish, the leak describes it as a dark red shade that can appear slightly purple depending on lighting conditions. This can also be seen on the leaked dummy unit that looks more purplish than red.

So far, OnePlus has not launched any X-branded smartphones in the Turbo series. But this seems to be on the verge of changing now. Because the latest rumours are hinting at a possible China launch of the upcoming OnePlus Turbo 6X series. Here’s what we know so far.

As per the leaked information, the standard OnePlus Turbo 6X is expected to feature a 144Hz LCD display. On the other hand, the Pro variant in the lineup is said to come equipped with a 1.5K OLED screen.

Samsung’s next-gen foldable smartphone lineup is expected to launch soon and rumours so far suggest this could be one of the company’s most ambitious foldable releases yet. Samsung is rumoured to introduce a new model called the Galaxy Z Fold Wide alongside the expected Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8. Recently, all three models were spotted on China’s CMIIT certification platform listings and here are more details on that.

Samsung Foldables on CMIIT Certification

According to a report by 91mobiles, three Samsung foldable smartphones have been spotted on the CMIIT database. This is a mandatory certification platform for electronic devices in China.

The listings include the Galaxy Z Flip 8 carrying the model number SM-F7760 and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 with the model number SM-F9670. While the certification does not explicitly reveal the marketing names of the devices, these model numbers have previously been linked to Samsung’s upcoming foldables.

The report also shared details of a third foldable device that has appeared on the certification platform with the model number SM-F7910. This model is believed to be the rumoured Galaxy Z Fold Wide, which has been tipped to debut alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8 later this year.

Galaxy Z Fold Wide – What We Know?

The upcoming Galaxy Z Fold Wide is expected to feature a noticeably wider inner display compared to previous Galaxy Z Fold devices. Rumours indicate that the foldable may adopt a 4:3 aspect ratio for its internal screen, paired with a 7.6-inch display.

Such a design could make the device feel more like a compact square-shaped tablet instead of the taller form factor seen on the current Galaxy Z Fold 7.

The wider design is also expected to improve the overall user experience for activities such as reading, watching videos, multitasking, and productivity-focused tasks. The wider display could also help unlock a more tablet-like experience that many users have been requesting for years.

Previous leaks have also revealed that the Galaxy Z Fold Wide may feature a 50MP primary rear camera along with a 50MP ultra-wide camera sensor. The foldable is also tipped to house a 4,800mAh battery, which would be in line with what is typically seen on premium foldable smartphones.

Adding to the leaks, tipster Ice Universe recently stated in a post on X that the crease control on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 series is said to be as impressive as the OPPO Find N6. The tipster also reiterated that Samsung has reportedly renamed the original Fold 8 to Fold 8 Ultra, while the previously rumoured Fold 8 Wide may now launch simply as the Fold 8. According to the tipster, this naming change was made only recently.

There have been a lot of speculations surrounding Samsung’s naming strategy for the lineup. Previous reports claim that the Galaxy Z Fold Wide could eventually launch under the Galaxy Z Fold 8 branding, while the direct successor to the Galaxy Z Fold 7 may reportedly arrive as the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra.
