It was just recently revealed that an update is coming to Messages in iOS 26 that will finally allow users to copy just part of a message, instead of the entire thing. Yes, copying text in iMessage on iPhone requires users to grab the entire message bubble in the current system. So, if you got excited about this upcoming iOS 26’s feature, but you’re not using the beta, WhatsApp has you covered.

With version 25.16.81, WhatsApp for iPhone already lets you highlight and copy just a portion of a message. So, if you only need a specific bit of text from a long message, you can now grab exactly what you want.

Here’s how it works – just long-press the message bubble, then press and hold again on the text. You’ll see the familiar iOS text selection handles pop up. Drag to highlight the part you need, then tap Copy. That’s it.

Xiaomi has just shared more exciting details about the upcoming Redmi K80 Ultra. After revealing the design earlier, the company took to Weibo to talk about the phone’s chipset and cooling system. It looks like this one’s built for gamers and power users. Here’s everything we know so far.

According to the brand, the Redmi K80 Ultra will be the first phone to pair MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9400+ chipset with Xiaomi’s own D2 discrete GPU. This combo has already achieved a massive 3.24 million score on AnTuTu V10, setting a new benchmark record.

While real-world use may differ, this score hints at top-tier performance, especially impressive for a phone expected to launch around 3000 yuan (approx. $418).

To manage all that power, Xiaomi has given the K80 Ultra its biggest-ever 3D IceLoop vapour chamber for cooling. This will help with sustained gaming, multitasking, and overall performance. It also gets support from Fury Engine 4.0, Xiaomi’s in-house software for performance tuning.

According to leaks, the Redmi K80 Ultra could sport a 6.83-inch LTPS OLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 7,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging and an IP68-rated design. It features a flat panel with soft corner curves, a quad-curved metal frame and a fibreglass back for a premium look and feel.

Other confirmed features include an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, improved stereo speakers, a refined vibration motor and a metal mid-frame for added durability.

Redmi K Pad Also on the Way

Meanwhile, K80 Ultra won’t be the only Xiaomi device we will get to see. The Chinese brand is also gearing up to launch the Redmi K Pad. The tablet will feature an 8.8-inch LCD display with 3K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It’s powered by the Dimensity 9400+ chip, runs Android 15 and may offer up to 16GB RAM with 67W fast charging. The design is clean and minimal, with a single rear camera and LED flash.

The K Pad is expected to compete with devices like the iPad Mini 7, Red Magic Gaming Tablet 3 Pro, and Lenovo Legion Y700 (Gen 4).

The OnePlus Nord 5 is expected to feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a sharp 2800 x 1272 resolution.

Under the hood, it might be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, paired with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of internal storage.

For cameras, it may pack a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens on the back. The front camera could also be a 50MP shooter, promising high-quality selfies. The phone is said to include a 5,200mAh battery with support for 80W SuperVOOC fast charging.

The Nord CE 5 might come with a slightly smaller 6.77-inch AMOLED screen, still with 120Hz refresh rate and a 2392 x 1080 resolution. It’s expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor, paired with 8GB RAM and either 128GB or 256GB storage.

Camera-wise, the setup looks similar to the Nord 5 with a 50MP main and 8MP ultra-wide lens on the rear. The front camera could be a 16MP sensor. Like its sibling, it’s also expected to house a 5,200mAh battery with 80W fast charging.

The phone may come in Black Infinity and Marble Mist finishes.
