New Apple Mac in Brief

Apple is arguably the biggest tech giant in the world as of now even though the likes of Samsung, Google, and Xiaomi are providing cut throat competition to its status but it cannot be denied that they all have their own significant following among different users.

Even though iPhone 14 series received mixed to positive reviews, it has still fared better than a few of its previous models. Apart from the smartphone department, Apple is going to launch a new Mac computer in 2023 for which it has already started working on.

A new Apple Mac was recently spotted on numerous gadget websites like Geekbench, which is one of the most popular benchmarking sites where you can get information on many upcoming gadgets, along with an M2 Max Chip.

The device has been codenamed ’Mac14.6’ that is apparently powered by an Apple M2 Max CPU, which is non-existent as of yet, although limited information regarding its specifics has been revealed.

As per the website, the new Apple Mac will be powered by an M2 Max Chip as mentioned, which will also have a 12-core CPU with 3.54GHz and 96GB RAM, while the multi-core tests conducted on it reveal that it is working fine as it scored 13855 in it and 1853 in single core tests.

The device also supports up to 24GB of LPDDR5-6400 memory, along with a 100GB/s bandwidth, apart from having the capacity to power the new MacBook Air with excellent speed.

M2 Max Chip is around 14% faster than M1 Max Chip, implying that the new model won’t be as big of an upgrade as one can expect from it, which was introduced by Apple in early 2022 itself.

It is also built on a 5-nanometer process mode, along with 8 cores that are divided into four performance cores and four power-efficiency cores, which is an improvement compared to its predecessor.
