Motorola is all set to start the sale of Motorola Razr Fold today i.e. May 20 at 12 PM in India. The foldable smartphone was announced in the country last week and has been available for pre-orders since then. Here’s everything you need to know about company’s first book-style foldable device.
The Motorola Razr Fold can now be purchased through Flipkart, the official Motorola India website and leading offline retail stores across the country including Reliance Digital.
The foldable smartphone comes in Pantone Blackened Blue and Pantone Lily White colour options.

The Motorola Razr Fold price in India starts at Rs. 1,49,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The higher-end 16GB RAM and 512GB storage option is priced at Rs. 1,59,999. Motorola has also introduced a special FIFA World Cup 26 Collection edition of the foldable smartphone priced at Rs. 1,69,999.
The effective starting price of the new foldable, however, comes down to ₹99,999 after accounting for several launch discount offers.
As part of the launch offers, buyers can get an instant bank discount of Rs. 10,000. Customers can also choose an exchange bonus worth Rs. 10,000 instead of the bank offer. The company is additionally offering no-cost EMI options for up to 18 months through select banks.
Customers purchasing the device before June 20 will also be eligible for a one-time free screen replacement valid for one year from the purchase date.

Jio users purchasing the foldable can also avail benefits on the Rs. 449 plan. The offer includes a three-month JioHotstar subscription, 5,000GB cloud storage with the Gemini Pro plan along with cashback and partner offers from brands including Tira, Ajio, and EaseMyTrip.
The Motorola Razr Fold features a large 8.1-inch 2K LTPO pOLED inner display with a resolution of 2484×2232 pixels. The foldable screen supports up to a 120Hz refresh rate along with Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and up to 6,200 nits peak brightness.
On the outside, the smartphone gets a 6.56-inch LTPO pOLED cover display with 2520×1080 pixels resolution. The external panel supports up to a 165Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3 protection, and up to 6,000 nits peak brightness.
The foldable smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset built on a 3nm process, paired with the Adreno 829 GPU. It comes with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage.

The device runs Android 16 and Motorola is promising seven years of OS updates along with seven years of security maintenance releases.
For photography, the Motorola Razr Fold includes a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel Sony Lytia 828 primary sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide and macro camera and a 50-megapixel Sony Lytia 600 periscope telephoto camera with OIS support.
For selfies and video calls, the smartphone features a 32-megapixel inner front camera and a 20-megapixel external front camera.
The device also comes with stereo speakers tuned by Bose and supports Dolby Atmos audio. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, GPS, NavIC, USB Type-C, and dual SIM support with eSIM compatibility.
The Motorola Razr Fold packs a 6,000mAh battery with support for 80W TurboPower fast charging, 50W wireless charging and 5W reverse charging.
In terms of durability, the foldable smartphone carries IP46, IP48, and IP49 water resistance ratings. It also includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.
When unfolded, the phone measures 144.47 x 160.05 x 4.55mm, while the folded dimensions are 160.05 x 73.6 x 9.89mm. The device weighs 243 grams.
