Motorola has officially started teasing the upcoming Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ in India. The smartphone is expected to launch soon as the fourth model in the Edge 70 series lineup. It will be joining the out already launched Motorola Edge 70, Edge 70 Pro and Edge 70 Fusion.
Ahead of the launch, Motorola has updated the dedicated microsite for the smartphone revealing key details about its camera setup, design and colour options.
According to the updated microsite, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ will feature a triple rear camera system led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor. The camera setup will use Sony’s LYT-710 sensor along with 3.5-degree optical image stabilisation support.
Motorola has also confirmed that the smartphone will support up to 50x digital zoom powered by its “Super Zoom Pro” technology.
One of the rear cameras is also teased to offer an 81mm focal length hinting at a telephoto camera setup on the device.
Furthermore, Motorola has also confirmed the three Pantone-curated colour variants for the smartphone.
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ will launch in Pantone Chicory Coffee, Pantone Stormy Sea, and Pantone Zinfandel shades. These variants will feature different finishes including a sculpted wood finish, a twill-inspired texture and a satin-luxe finish.
In terms of design, the Edge 70 Pro+ appears to closely resemble the Motorola Edge 70 Pro. The smartphone features a square-shaped rear camera module and a flat back panel. On the front, the handset is shown with a curved display and a centred hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera.
The power button and volume rocker are positioned on the right edge of the phone, while the left side includes an additional unspecified button. The rear panel also carries Motorola branding placed at the centre.
Recent reports have also suggested that the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ could arrive with three major upgrades over the Edge 70 Pro model. These upgrades reportedly include the addition of a telephoto rear camera, wireless charging support and up to 16GB RAM.
Edge 70 Pro+ is expected to sport a 6.8-inch 1.5K quad-curved LTPO AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It will most likely be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme processor paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage.
