Moto X40 Price, Specs & Release Date in India

Since Motorola has finally confirmed that its upcoming China event is scheduled for December 15, many industry insiders are claiming that the brand might launch its most anticipated smartphone Moto X40 during the event. The brand has revealed some interesting features and key specifications through various teaser photos.

Speculated to be the brand’s first smartphone sporting the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset, the Moto X40 price in India is expected to be Rs. 59,999. Before the Moto X40 release date of December 15 receives an official confirmation, let’s take a quick look at Moto X40 specifications.

As stated before, there has been no official confirmation from the brand yet, the fact that Motorola unveiled Moto X30 in a similar event previously is what speculations around the current event have been gaining momentum.

Looking at the key specifications and leaked images, Moto X40 appears to be a well-balanced premium smartphone with matching high-end specifications. The 6.67 inches OLED display with 144hz refresh rate with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and 395ppiis pixel density lends a premium quality to the smartphone from the get-go.

Adding to that, we will get some great camera lenses for powerful photography functionality. The rear camera setup with three lenses of 50 MP Primary, 50 MP Ultra-Wide Angle and 12 MP Telephotorespectively is enough to provide enhanced photography and videography quality in itself. The device also has a 32MP front primary lens for selfies and video chat.

As for performance, Moto X40 is said to be Motorola’s first smartphone that will be geared with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and Adreno 730 chipset. Supported by 8GB RAM and an internal memory of 128GB, the smartphone is further packed with Tri core 2.75GHz Cortex A710, Quad-core 2GHz Cortex A510 and a Single core 3.2GHz Cortex X2 CPU layout.

Moreover, the Moto X40 is equipped with a non-removable Li-Polymer-type battery with 5000mAh charging capacity. The battery will come with 68W fast charge supports as well. For connectivity, the smartphone provides A-GPS Glonass support, Bluetooth v5.2, Mobile Hotspot, 4G VolTE networks, and Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n.
