Performance: Blazing Fast

Realme GT 6:
Realme GT 6: Performance

At the heart of the Realme GT 6 lies the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, which excels in multitasking and handling demanding applications with ease.

Its high AnTuTu benchmark score is a testament to its efficiency, backed by a 4nm process technology that optimizes battery life.

The GT 6 transforms mobile gaming with its ability to sustain high frame rates in games like PUBG and Genshin Impact.

The addition of Geek Power Tuning allows gamers to customize performance settings, offering a balance between high-speed gaming and power efficiency.

Despite its robust performance, the GT 6 stays cool under pressure thanks to the Iceberg Vapor Cooling System.

This system uses a dual VC setup and an extensive cooling array to maintain optimal performance during intense gaming sessions or heavy usage, ensuring the device doesn’t overheat.

Additionally, the smartphone enhances user interaction with its Tactile Engine Pro, which uses a large X-axis linear motor to deliver a nuanced, realistic tactile response during typing, gaming, and other interactions.

No game is too much for the Realme GT 6 and it’s extreme setup to handle even the most demanding tasks puts it on a high gaming pedestal.

Of course there is also the usual 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage on offer to make the GT 6 a very compelling buy for heavy-duty mobile users.

Display: A Visual Feast

Realme GT 6:
Realme GT 6: Display

The Realme GT 6 features a 6000nit Ultra Bright Display for exceptional clarity in direct sunlight.

Yeah that’s not a typo.

Although let’s be clear this mode is triggered when viewing highly compatible HDR content.

The Realme GT 6 features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that delivers stunning FHD+ clarity with a resolution of 2780 × 1264.

Its adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz ensures smooth motion for gaming and video.

Enhanced with HDR 10+ and Dolby Vision, the display offers a cinematic color experience with deep contrasts and vibrant visuals.

It was a treat to watch content on the device.

With a touch sampling rate that escalates to 2500Hz, the GT 6 responds instantaneously to every touch, making it ideal for high-stakes gaming and fast-paced applications.

This, combined with its 100% P3 color saturation and 10-bit color depth, ensures a display that’s not just responsive but also immensely vivid and true to life.

This is just one of those times that there is literally nothing negative to say about the viewing experience

Camera: A Suite of High-Performance Lenses

Realme GT 6:
Realme GT 6: Camera

The Realme GT 6 boasts an impressive array of cameras, starting with its main 50MP Sony LYT-808 sensor featuring a large 1/1.4″ size and an f/1.69 aperture.

It come equipped with OIS, it delivers sharp, clear images even in shaky conditions.

However, users might notice slight oversaturation in brightly lit scenarios, which can affect the natural look of the photos.

Complementing the main sensor is a 50MP telephoto camera by Samsung JN5, offering a 47mm effective focal length and an f/2.0 aperture, perfect for capturing detailed shots from a distance.

The ultra-wide camera, an 8MP Sony IMX355 with a 1/4” sensor and f/2.2 aperture, provides expansive field-of-view shots.

While the ultra-wide lens captures more of the scene, it tends to exhibit noticeable edge distortion and a drop in detail compared to the main and telephoto lenses.

The 32MP front camera, with a 1/2.74” sensor and f/2.45 aperture, excels in producing vibrant selfies under good lighting conditions.

Yet, in low-light environments, this camera struggles with noise and a loss of detail, which could be a downside for users frequenting dimly lit venues or preferring natural evening lighting for their shots.

Realme GT 6: AI Capabilities

The Realme GT 6 integrates a slew of advanced AI features to enhance photo quality across all scenarios.

AI Night Vision mode significantly improves low-light photography, offering brighter, clearer images without manual adjustments.

The AI Smart Removal feature is particularly innovative, allowing users to easily erase unwanted objects or passersby from photos, creating cleaner and more focused compositions.

While these AI enhancements are impressive, I found that sometimes they require a bit more processing time, which might test the patience of users looking for quick snapshots.

AI Smart Loop simplifies content sharing between apps, recognizing and predicting user behavior to streamline the process, though its prediction accuracy can vary depending on the app being used.

A Suite of Powerful Features

Realme GT 6:
Realme GT 6: Features

The Realme GT 6 takes security seriously with its advanced, independent security chipset, boasting CC EAL6+ certification—the highest in the smartphone industry.

This chipset, along with a software-based firewall, ensures a fortified defense against privacy breaches by isolating

For audio enthusiasts, the Realme GT 6 offers an immersive sound experience with its dual stereo speakers that are Hi-Res Audio certified, perfect for movies, music, and gaming.

The device also simplifies everyday tasks with its built-in infrared module, transforming the phone into a universal remote control for home devices.

Apart from that the in-display fingerprint scanner and facial recognition system provide quick and secure access to the phone, enhancing both convenience and security.

Realme UI 5.0: A Seamless Interface

Realme UI 5.0: A Seamless Interface
Realme UI 5.0: A Seamless Interface

Realme UI 5.0 powers the GT 6, featuring fluid, intuitive animations that mimic real-world behavior for a more natural user experience.

The interface includes unique elements like the File Dock, which allows users to drag and drop content across applications seamlessly, streamlining the process of sharing and managing information.

Enhanced privacy features like Picture Keeper and Strong Box offer users meticulous control over app permissions and protect sensitive encryption keys, respectively, adding layers of security that protect personal data from unauthorized access and breaches.

Battery and Charging: Speed Meets Stamina

Realme GT 6:
Realme GT 6: Battery

The 5500mAh battery supports 120W SUPERVOOC charging, allowing for incredibly fast charging times.

However, despite these impressive speeds, the actual battery life under heavy use can be somewhat disappointing, struggling to last a full day without needing a top-up.

While the smart charging algorithm extends battery lifespan and ensures safe charging practices, some users might notice the battery performance degrading faster than expected, especially with intense gaming and high brightness usage.

That is story though for a more long term review of the device.

Design and Extras: Sleek Yet Functional

Realme GT 6:
Realme GT 6: Design and Extras: Sleek Yet Functional

The nano-mirror back cover of the GT 6 is visually stunning but attracts fingerprints and smudges, which can detract from its sleek appearance.

The tactile feedback and build quality are excellent, although the phone’s weight might be uncomfortable for prolonged one-handed use.

Also I generally prefer the back to have a complete matte-finish so as to avoid getting smudges.

Also  you would be hard pressed to differentiate the GT 6 from the GT 6T, unless you look too closely at the camera module.

Overall though, the phone is ingeniously crafted and is treat to look at, so I do give high marks to the Realme design team for the GT6.

You have a sleek exterior and a robust frame, that is likely to withstand a lot of general abuse

While it offers a range of impressive capabilities, potential buyers should be aware of its few drawbacks, such as battery life and camera edge detection issues.

Nevertheless, for those seeking high-end performance at a reasonable price, the Realme GT 6 remains a compelling choice.

Dear Apple, Here’s What We Want the Next iPhone to Do!

0

Highlights

  • A detailed wishlist for the next iPhone.
  • A call for lighter iPhones and tweaks to camera colours to enhance photo quality.
  • Advocacy for refining camera algorithms to produce more true-to-life colours and tones, ensuring that photos capture scenes as they appear to the human eye.

As a team of tech enthusiasts who have been a fan of Apple gear for ages, we at My Mobiles are always hyped for the next iPhone drop.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max is obviously super sleek and loaded with cool stuff, but hey, there’s always room to level up, right?

Now, let’s talk dreams of every Apple user out there.

We are always dreaming about the next iPhone and anticipating what engineers at Apple might be planning.

The iPhone 16 Pro Max looks like it’s gonna be even snazzier (if the leaks are anything to go by), and that’s got our brains spinning.

But we can’t stop thinking of our wishlist for the next iPhone.

Assuming we were calling the shots at Apple, here’s what we would cook up to take the next iPhone to the next level of fancy.

Software

A17 Bionic chip is a speed demon and pure efficiency
A17 Bionic chip is a speed demon and pure efficiency

In our books, Apple rules the roost when it comes to performance and software.

And there is hardly anything that you as a user can suggest that the Apple engineers haven’t already thought of.

Take the iPhone 15 Pro Max, for example.

That A17 Bionic chip is a speed demon and pure efficiency.

And the iOS just keeps getting better, especially with iOS 18 bringing in more customizations and that touch of Apple Intelligence.

So, here’s our two cents: Stick to your guns.

Keep focusing on top-notch performance and pushing for excellence.

That’s the winning formula right there.

Camera

iPhone 15 Pro and pro Max Camera
iPhone 15 Pro Max boasts an impressive camera system with advanced sensors

You know, the camera setup on the iPhone 15 Pro Max is pretty darn impressive.

Those sensors churn out some seriously top-notch pics.

But here’s the thing: the photography buffs always find a bone to pick.

It’s the whole oversharpened details and super vibrant colours that sometimes kill the deal.

Sure, to the average eye snapping selfies or group pics, this might not be a big deal.

iPhone cameras to produce images with oversharpened details and vibrant colors

But those enhancements make photos pop in an unnatural way.

And let’s not forget the beauty of real life.

So, here’s our pitch for the next iPhone: Let’s fine-tune those camera algorithms.

Let’s aim for photos that capture scenes the way our eyes see them.

Natural colours, subtle contrasts—none of that overly processed stuff.

And if there are folks who still dig the Insta-ready vibe, the least you can do is give us the option to dial it back to the original shot before the tweaks kick in.

Is this too much to ask for?

Design

iPhone 15 Pro’s Titanium Casing Causing Heat
Phone 15 Pro Max too is a real looker

You know what is always the high point for most users when it comes to iPhones?

That sleek, classy design!

The iPhone 15 Pro Max too is a real looker, there is no doubt about that.

That stunning display, that premium titanium build, it has got all.

But it is time we talk about the weight.

Apple tried to trim it down by using titanium, but for most everyday users, 20g is still on the heavier side of the “how much your smartphone weighs” scale.

iPhone 15 Pro Colour
Apple tried to trim it down by using titanium

So, here’s the plan: Let’s dig into some materials and design tweaks to shed some pounds without sacrificing durability or style.

Imagine an iPhone that’s still tough as nails but feels lighter than air in your hand (and on your face!).

Now, that’d be a game-changer.

Oh, and speaking of game-changers?

We hope we aren’t being hasty in imagining Foldable iPhones.

Because sign us up!

But there too is the catch, since Apple has to do its best – No creases, please!

If you are planning on foldable devices in future, give us a seamless, crease-free foldable iPhone, and you’ve got a winner.

Apple's iPhone 15 Pro Series: Titan Gray
15 Pro Max’s frame from titanium to try to address this situation

And let’s not forget about colours.

How about a Product RED iPhone 15 Pro Max? Heck, why stop there?

Give us the whole rainbow!

It’s not that much to ask for—just a handful of shades to choose from.

We’ll take whatever you’ve got!

Overall, when it comes to iPhones, Apple has always been the gold standard for sleek design and buttery-smooth performance.

If Apple keeps working on making them lighter, tweaking those camera colours, and giving us even more juice in the battery, they’ll keep us buzzing with excitement and leaving the competition in the dust.

FAQs

Q1. What are the biggest similarities between the iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 Pro?

Google's Tensor G5 to Use TSMC's 3nm Process, Enhancing Performance and Efficiency in 2025

Highlights

  • Google to switch from Samsung to TSMC for its Tensor G5 SoC production in 2025.
  • Tensor G5 to utilize TSMC’s advanced 3nm process, promising better performance and power efficiency.
  • Move aims to address performance gaps compared to Qualcomm and MediaTek chips.
  • New Tensor G5 will be featured in the upcoming Pixel devices, enhancing their competitive edge.

Google is set to switch to TSMC for its proprietary Tensor G5 SoC in 2025.

The new report reveals that Google’s switch will also bring a 3nm process to the Tensor G5 in Pixel devices.

Of course, that brings with it more than performance, which is something that the Tensor chipsets lack when placed in competition with Qualcomm and MediaTek.

Along with water resistance, dust protection is highlighted, which is uncommon on many foldable smartphones currently available.

For instance, Samsung only offers water resistance.

An Upgraded Camera Setup?

Motorola Razr Plus 2024: Leaked Features Include Telephoto Lens, Improved Water Resistance, and AI Capabilities
The upcoming flagship might offer IP52 dust and water resistance

For camera enthusiasts, the video reveals one of the cameras will offer telephoto zoom.

The previous Razr Plus model, released in 2023, had a standard camera alongside an ultrawide, as most dual-camera devices opt for nowadays.

Telephoto cameras are rare on foldable flip phones, so this is a welcome addition to the new Motorola Razr Plus, but it’s unclear if it comes at the cost of an ultrawide shooter.

To compete with the AI world, the smartphone will also feature AI capabilities.

In the video, the camera is apparently “AI-powered,”and the device includes “Moto AI.”

According to some of the previous leaks of Motorola’s upcoming Razr Plus, there isn’t any detail on significant changes to the foldable flip phone.

While the cheaper model seemed to be getting a full-size cover display, the flagship looked to just be getting a spec bump.

However, this leaked, official-looking video offers a couple of interesting details.

In previous leaks, the new Razr Plus is said to come with a slightly larger 4000 mAh battery, compared to the 3800 mAh one inside the last generation.

It may also feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 3 chipset.

0

Highlights

  • Google Pixel 9 may introduce an AI-powered Creative Assistant to generate stickers and emojis.
  • The new tool could work directly on the device or use cloud computing for enhanced performance.
  • Expected to be exclusive to Pixel phones initially, with possible wider rollout later.
  • Rumored specs include Tensor G4 chip, 6.03-inch display, and dual rear cameras.

A new report suggests Google may introduce an AI-powered creativity tool.

Code in Android 15 Beta 3 hints the upcoming Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro phones could feature a “Creative Assistant”.

Pixel 9 Series: Creative Google Assistant?

Google Markup app with (empty) remix button forcefully enabled
Google is working on a new app called Creative Assistant

As per Android Authority, this tool, likely exclusive to Pixel phones initially, could use AI to generate stickers and emojis, similar to Apple’s Genmoji feature.

The Markup app mentions a “remix” button seemingly connected to the Creative Assistant.

This suggests users might create AI-generated stickers and add them to screenshots or images.

One question is whether the Creative Assistant will work directly on the phone or rely on cloud computing.

The expected Tensor G4 chip and Gemini Nano in the Pixel 9 could potentially handle sticker generation due to their smaller size and resolution compared to other images.

The Creative Assistant seems a natural next step for Google’s Gboard app, which includes the Emoji Kitchen for combining emojis.

It could use generative AI to create custom stickers

The new tool could offer generative features for creating entirely new emojis.

Whether it will rival Apple’s Genmoji, unveiled at WWDC for generating emojis in the messenger app, remains to be seen.

Google usually rolls out exclusive Pixel features to other devices over time, or as a paid Google One feature.

The possibility of exclusive AI features on Pixel phones could make them more attractive compared to other Android phones.

More information is needed to see how Google’s AI creativity tool compares to Apple’s Genmoji and if it will be accessible to a wider range of users.

Pixel 9: Rumoured Specs

The new tool could work directly on the device or use cloud computing for enhanced performance
This app could integrate with Google’s Markup to paste custom stickers onto images

We know quite a bit about the Pixel 9 from its numerous leaks.

More recently we were treated to four 5K renders and a 360-degree video providing a look at the upcoming Google Pixel 9 flagship.

The design is similar to the Pixel 9 Pro, with a compact body and thick rear camera module.

However, the Pixel 9 has a dual-camera setup, in contrast to the Pro model’s triple-camera system.

The Pixel 9 will have rounded corners with a flat display and a centered punch-hole selfie camera.

The power button and volume keys are placed on the right side of a flat frame.

The smartphone will feature a 6.03-inch display, slightly smaller than the Pixel 9 Pro’s 6.1-inch display.

In terms of dimensions, the Pixel 9 measures around 152.8 x 71.9 x 8.5mm, and 12mm with the rear camera bump, according to reports.

Evidence for this app was spotted in Android 15 Beta 3, but the app itself isn’t available yet

As for rumoured specs, the Pixel 9 is expected to be powered by Google’s next-generation Tensor chipset, likely the Tensor G4.

It will run Android 14 out of the box and could have up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

The dual rear camera system is rumoured to consist of a 50MP main sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide lens.

Pixel phones are known for their computational photography capabilities, so improvements in this area are anticipated.

Other rumoured features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, wireless charging support, and IP68 water and dust resistance.

Google may also introduce new AI and machine learning capabilities exclusive to the Pixel 9 series.
