Highlights

  • Tipster claims OnePlus 16 and OPPO Find X10 Ultra may skip India, while Find X10 Pro Max is expected to debut there in 2027.
  • OnePlus 16 likely in Q4 2026 in China with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro, 185Hz display, about 9,000mAh battery, and 200MP telephoto camera.
  • OPPO Find X10 Ultra tipped with dual telephoto setup (50MP + 200MP), while Pro Max may feature Dimensity 9600 Pro, 2K LTPO OLED, triple 200MP cameras, IP69 rating and large battery.

The launch plans for OnePlus and OPPO’s upcoming flagship smartphones may differ from previous generations. A new tip suggests that the OnePlus 16 and the OPPO Find X10 Ultra could skip the Indian market, while the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max is expected to make its way to the country. Since there is no official confirmation from either brand, these claims should be treated as speculation for now. Here’s more on that.

OnePlus 16 and OPPO Find X10 Ultra India Launch Tipped to be Unlikely

Earlier reports had suggested that OnePlus would scale back its global operations and focus only on the Chinese market. The company later clarified its plans, confirming that while it will no longer introduce new products in North America and Europe, it will continue its regular operations in India.

Recently, tipster Smart Pikachu on Wiebo hinted that OnePlus will have its entire product lineup go through a major change. The brand will be focusing on flagship phones with advanced features like 185Hz refresh rate, narrow bezels and active cooling. We can expect new watches and headphones to join the exciting lineup.

However, tipster @Gadgetsdata on X now claims that the upcoming OnePlus 16 may not be launched in India. The leak also suggests that the OPPO Find X10 Ultra could skip the Indian market.

On the other hand, the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max is tipped to arrive in India. As of now, neither OnePlus nor OPPO has officially confirmed the availability of these devices, so the information should be taken with a pinch of salt.

OnePlus 16 – Expected Specifications

The OnePlus 16 is expected to debut in China during the fourth quarter of 2026 as the successor to the OnePlus 15. According to leaks, the flagship smartphone could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset based on a 2nm manufacturing process.

It is also tipped to feature a 185Hz display, a battery with a capacity of around 9,000mAh, and a 200MP telephoto camera, marking significant upgrades over its predecessor.

OPPO Find X10 Ultra and Find X10 Pro Max – What We Know So Far?

Recent reports indicate that the OPPO Find X10 Ultra could feature a dual telephoto camera system comprising a 50MP periscope camera with 10x optical zoom and a 200MP telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom. The device is also expected to use a square-shaped sensor for its front-facing camera.

Oppo Find X9 Pro. (Image credit – Oppo)

For reference, OPPO launched the Oppo Find X9 Pro in India last year but the Find X9 lineup did not include a Pro Max model. As a result, the upcoming Find X10 Pro Max is expected to take over as the successor to the Find X9 Pro in the Indian market. However, this information is still based on leaks, and the expected 2027 launch remains several months away.

The Find X10 Pro Max is also rumoured to feature a large 2K flat LTPO OLED display and could be powered by MediaTek’s next-generation Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset. In terms of cameras, OPPO is reportedly testing a triple 200MP setup consisting of a 200MP primary camera, a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, and a 200MP ultra-wide camera. However, the ultra-wide sensor is still said to be under evaluation with a 50MP alternative also being considered.

Other leaked features include a multispectral sensor, a 50MP selfie camera, support for telemacro photography, an enormous battery with a capacity ranging between 8,000mAh and 9,000mAh, IP69-rated dust and water resistance, a dedicated Snap Key, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.

It is worth noting that none of these hardware details have been officially confirmed by OPPO and the final specifications could change before the smartphone enters mass production.

At present, neither OnePlus nor OPPO has confirmed whether the OnePlus 16 and the OPPO Find X10 Ultra will be skipped for the Indian market. More updates regarding the companies’ regional launch strategies and product availability is expected as the smartphones move closer to their official launch timelines.

Recent leaks have painted a detailed picture of the upcoming Vivo X500 lineup, which is expected to include the Vivo X500, Vivo X500e, Vivo X500 Pro, Vivo X500 Pro Max, and the Vivo X500 Ultra.

The standard Vivo X500 is tipped to feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display and could be powered by MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9500 chipset. The phone is expected to offer a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP Sony primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 64MP periscope telephoto camera. It is also rumoured to pack a large 7,500mAh battery.

Meanwhile, the Vivo X500e is also expected to sport a compact 6.59-inch display and use the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor. It may feature a 50MP primary camera, a periscope telephoto lens, and a 7,500mAh battery. Previous reports have additionally suggested that the handset could debut as the Vivo S60 Pro in select global markets.

The Vivo X500 Pro is tipped to arrive with MediaTek’s next-generation Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset. It is expected to feature a 6.37-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED display supporting a 144Hz refresh rate, while battery capacity is said to range between 6,500mAh and 7,000mAh. In terms of cameras, the device could include a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, a 64MP periscope telephoto camera, and a large LOFIC imaging sensor.

At the top of the 2026 lineup, the Vivo X500 Pro Max is expected to offer a 6.85-inch 2K LTPO display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It is rumoured to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro processor and paired with LPDDR6 RAM. Camera hardware is expected to include a 50MP Sony LYT-838 primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera. The handset may also house a battery of up to 8,000mAh.

Vivo X500 Ultra – New Camera Leak Reveals Possible Upgrades

While the Vivo X500 Ultra is reportedly being developed for a 2027 launch, fresh information from reliable tipster Digital Chat Station suggests Vivo is actively testing multiple camera configurations before finalising the hardware.

According to the leak, the phone is currently being evaluated with three different 200MP periscope telephoto sensors, including 1/1.12-inch, 1/1.3-inch, and 1/1.4-inch variants.

Vivo X300 Ultra.
Vivo X300 Ultra.

For the 35mm main camera, which is presently based on Sony’s 1/1.12-inch 200MP LYT-901 sensor, Vivo is said to be considering two different approaches. One option reportedly replaces the existing sensor with a 50MP 1/1.28-inch LOFIC sensor paired with a significantly improved micro-gimbal system for much better video stabilisation. However, this solution would reduce both sensor size and resolution.

DCS’s posts on Weibo. (Screenshot by NoteBookCheck)

The second option retains the existing 200MP sensor size and resolution but adds LOFIC technology to improve dynamic range. The same LOFIC technology is also expected to make its debut on the Vivo X500 Pro later this year. According to comments on the tipster’s Weibo post, many users currently favour this second approach.

The tipster has not shared any fresh details regarding the ultra-wide camera. However, the 85mm telephoto camera, which currently uses Samsung’s 1/1.4-inch 200MP ISOCELL HP0 sensor, is also reportedly being tested with three different configurations. One option retains the existing sensor size, while the other two use larger sensors. The second option is said to feature a 1/1.3-inch 200MP sensor, whereas the most ambitious configuration reportedly adopts a 1/1.12-inch 200MP sensor similar in size to the proposed 35mm main camera.

Since Oppo has already introduced a 1/1.28-inch telephoto sensor on the Find X9 Ultra, a larger telephoto sensor would be a logical upgrade for Vivo as well. However, it remains uncertain whether the company will ultimately use two 1/1.12-inch sensors in the final production model.

Expected Launch Timeline

Based on current reports, the Vivo X500, Vivo X500 Pro and Vivo X500 Pro Max are expected to debut in China around September 2026.

The Vivo X500e is likely to launch at a later stage, while the Vivo X500 Ultra is currently expected to arrive during the first half of 2027.

7 Hidden iPhone Features and Tricks You Should Start Using Today

7 Hidden iPhone Features and Tricks You Should Start Using Today

Highlights

  • Use Back Tap on iPhone for quick shortcuts, automate tasks with Shortcuts, organise ideas in Freeform, and manage notes more efficiently with the built-in Notes app.
  • Protect sensitive apps on iPhone with Face ID, prevent passcode changes using Screen Time and review or stop data sharing instantly with Safety Check.
  • Take better photos with the hidden iPhone camera level guide and lens cleaning hints, while customising your device using widgets, app hiding and Spatial Wallpapers.

iPhones are packed with useful features but many of them remain hidden inside the Settings app. While most users know the basics, there are several built-in tools that can improve privacy, boost productivity and even help you take better photos.

If you’ve been using your iPhone the same way for years, it’s time to explore these hidden iPhone features. Here are seven hidden iPhone features and tricks that can make your everyday experience smarter and more convenient.

Back Tap Turns iPhone’s Back into a Shortcut Button

Screenshot by Macrumors

Did you know you can use the back of your iPhone as a shortcut button? Apple’s Back Tap feature allows you to perform different actions by simply double-tapping or triple-tapping the back of your device.

You can use it to:

  • Take a screenshot
  • Open the Camera app
  • Launch your favourite app
  • Trigger other supported shortcuts

The feature uses your iPhone’s built-in motion sensors to detect the taps, so you don’t have to press any physical buttons.

How to enable it –

Go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Back Tap and choose the action you want for double or triple tap.

Hide and Lock iPhone Apps with Face ID

Screenshot by Macrumors

If you keep banking apps, personal notes, or private photos on your iPhone, adding an extra layer of security is always a good idea.

iOS lets you lock supported apps using Face ID, ensuring only you can open them. You can also hide apps from your Home Screen by moving them to the App Library or placing them inside folders. This makes sensitive apps harder to spot while keeping your personal information protected if someone else uses your phone.

Using Screen Time to Block Passcode Changes

Most people use Screen Time to limit app usage, but it can also help secure your iPhone.

By enabling restrictions through Screen Time, you can stop anyone from changing your iPhone’s passcode without permission. This is especially useful if children or family members occasionally use your device as it helps keep your security settings locked down.

iPhone Safety Check for Managing Data Sharing

Apple includes a powerful privacy tool called Safety Check designed to help you quickly review and control what information you’re sharing.

The feature shows whether your location, account access, or app permissions are being shared with other people or devices. If needed, you can stop all sharing with a single tap, making it a quick way to regain control over your privacy.

This feature can be particularly useful if you want to review or immediately end existing sharing permissions.

Create Standout Work Faster

Screenshot by Macrumors

You don’t always need third-party apps to stay productive. Apple already includes several useful tools that can help you get work done more efficiently.

Some of the most useful built-in apps include –

  • Notes – Scan documents, create checklists, and collaborate with others.
  • Freeform – A digital whiteboard that’s great for brainstorming ideas and planning projects.
  • Shortcuts – Automate repetitive tasks such as resizing images or sending routine reports.

Using these apps together can help you complete everyday tasks faster while keeping everything within Apple’s ecosystem.

iPhone Lens Cleaning Hints Feature

Your iPhone camera includes several lesser-known features that can improve photo quality.

If your photos suddenly appear blurry or hazy, iOS may detect that your camera lens needs cleaning and suggest wiping it. In many cases, a quick clean with a microfiber cloth is enough to restore image clarity.

iPhone Camera Grid Activates Built‑In Level Guide

Enabling the Camera Grid offers more than just the rule-of-thirds guide. When you point your iPhone directly downward to capture documents, food, or flat objects, a hidden level guide appears. It helps you align the camera perfectly so your photos look straight instead of tilted.

To use it, simply turn on the camera grid from your camera settings.

iOS Widgets and App Hiding for a Personalised Home Screen

Apple offers several customisation features that can make your iPhone look cleaner while improving usability.

Add Widgets

Widgets display useful information like:

  • Weather
  • Calendar events
  • Battery percentage
  • Reminders

This lets you check important information without opening apps.

Hide Unused Apps

If you prefer a cleaner Home Screen, you can move apps into the App Library while keeping them installed on your device. It’s a simple way to reduce clutter and keep private apps out of sight.

Spatial Wallpapers Create 3D Depth on iPhone Lock Screens

Spatial Wallpapers add a subtle 3D effect to your Lock Screen. As you tilt your iPhone, the wallpaper shifts slightly, creating the illusion that the clock and widgets are floating above the background.

It’s a visual enhancement that gives your Lock Screen a more dynamic and modern appearance.

iPhone 18 Pro Max Camera Specs Leak Via Diagnostics Log, Hints at Rumoured Variable Aperture Upgrade

0
iPhone 18 Pro Max Camera

Highlights

  • Leak via diagnostics log suggests iPhone 18 Pro Max will debut with a Sony IMX905 primary sensor featuring variable aperture support.
  • Other cameras are expected to remain unchanged including IMX973 telephoto, IMX972 ultra‑wide, IMX591 LiDAR and IMX914 front camera.
  • The launch is tipped for September 2026 with reports of a possible $200 price increase.

Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 18 series in September 2026 with the lineup likely to include the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Ultra. Ahead of the anticipated launch, a fresh leak has shed more light on the camera hardware of the top-end model. According to an exclusive report by Notebookcheck, a leaked diagnostics log has reiterated earlier claims about the iPhone 18 Pro Max receiving a new primary camera sensor with variable aperture support.

iPhone 18 Pro Max – Diagnostics Log Reveals Camera Details

The report states that the diagnostics log is part of a collection of internal Tata Electronics files that were leaked online in June by the ransomware group World Leaks. The log reportedly confirms Apple’s planned camera hardware changes and supports an earlier Notebookcheck report published in early July.

One of the biggest revelations is the inclusion of a Sony IMX905 primary camera sensor, which is said to replace the sensor used in the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Although the sensor retains the same 1.22μm pixel size, the upgrade is reportedly centred around the addition of a variable aperture rather than an increase in sensor size.

The diagnostics log also reportedly includes a calibration block containing actuator data stored in the sensor’s non-volatile memory, which is said to confirm support for the variable aperture mechanism.

While several Android smartphone manufacturers have already adopted variable aperture technology, it would mark the first time an iPhone is equipped with the feature.

iPhone 18 Pro Max – Other Cameras Expected to Remain Unchanged

According to the leaked diagnostics log, the remaining camera hardware is expected to carry over from the iPhone 17 Pro Max without any major changes.

The smartphone is tipped to retain the Sony IMX973 telephoto sensor, Sony IMX972 ultra-wide sensor, Sony IMX591 LiDAR receiver, and Sony IMX914 front-facing camera.

The report also mentions that the telephoto camera features 0.7μm native pixels, which can be combined into 1.4μm pixels through pixel binning. It is also expected to continue using a 3-axis spherical actuator for gimbal-style optical image stabilisation (OIS), similar to the previous generation.

The latest leak also backs earlier reports claiming that Apple has been testing variable aperture technology for both the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.

The iPhone 18 Pro Max is expected to launch alongside the rest of the iPhone 18 series in September 2026. Previous reports have also suggested that Apple could increase the Pro Max’s price by around $200, partly due to rising camera component and memory production costs.

POCO X8 Leak Revives Rumoured Smartphone, 9,000mAh Battery and Redmi Note 17 Pro Rebrand Expected

0

Highlights

  • Fresh leak revives the POCO X8, previously thought cancelled, with references found in HyperOS code suggesting ongoing development.
  • Expected specs include 6.83″ 1.5K AMOLED, Snapdragon 6s Gen 4, 50MP+2MP rear cameras, 8MP front and 67W fast charging + 22.5W reverse charging.
  • It could reportedly feature 9,000mAh for India, 8,340mAh for global variant.

The Redmi Note 17 and Redmi Note 17 Pro have already made their debut in China, but the two smartphones are yet to reach global markets. While Xiaomi has remained silent on international launches, new leaks continue to hint at POCO-branded versions of the devices.

After recently revealing details about the rumoured POCO M8 Power, tipster Kacper Skrzypek has now shared fresh information about the POCO X8. The latest leak suggests that the smartphone may still be in development even though previous reported claimed it was cancelled.

POCO X8 Key Details Leaked

According to the tipster, references to the POCO X8 have been found within HyperOS code. The leak indicates that the smartphone will feature a 50MP primary rear camera accompanied by a 2MP auxiliary sensor.

The camera hardware matches that of the Redmi Note 17 Pro sold in China, further strengthening speculation that the POCO X8 could launch as a rebranded version of the Redmi smartphone. Although the Redmi Note 17 Pro is currently exclusive to China, it is expected to debut in global markets soon.

If the POCO X8 is indeed based on the Redmi Note 17 Pro, it is expected to feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor and support 67W wired fast charging along with 22.5W reverse wired charging

For photography, the handset is expected to offer a 50MP + 2MP dual rear camera setup, while selfies and video calls could be handled by an 8MP front camera.

One of the biggest highlights of the leak is the battery capacity. The Chinese Redmi Note 17 Pro packs a 9,000mAh battery and reports suggest that the Indian variant could retain the same battery size. Meanwhile, the global version is expected to feature a slightly smaller 8,340mAh battery.

The tipster did not reveal whether the POCO X8 will be launched in separate Indian and global variants. If Xiaomi follows the same strategy as the Redmi Note 17 Pro, the Indian version of the POCO X8 could feature a 9,000mAh battery, while the global model may arrive with an 8,340mAh unit.

Launch Timeline

At present, there is no information regarding the smartphone’s official launch timeline.

It also remains unclear whether the POCO X8 and the recently leaked POCO M8 Power will be introduced together. Notably, the POCO M8 Power is also expected to be a rebranded version of China’s Redmi Note 17.
