In Brief

Prabhas is a name that needs no introduction for lovers of Indian Cinema, especially the Telugu-language industry, one of the biggest branches that constitute the entire tree that is the Cinema of India.

Indian Cinema is more than 110 years old, almost as long as Hollywood, but one which produces 10 times more films than what its American counterpart does, and is slowly proving its mettle in the rest of the world due to films like RRR.

Coming back to Prabhas, he shot to fame with both Baahubali films that were some of the biggest hits of Indian cinema that put Telugu cinema on the map and made Prabhas the first ever PAN-Indian star of India.

Baahubali launched the Pan-Indian revolution where South Indian Cinema was no longer confined to its region, at least not Telugu and Tamil cinema as the entirety of north India got to witness the magnanimous scale of films like Baahubali.

RRR took things to a whole new level as it became a worldwide blockbuster, specifically in the western world as many Hollywood directors, actors, and westerners couldn’t stop raving about it.

Baahubali was a massive success in the Hindi belt too and Prabhas’ voice dubbed by noted actor Sharad Kelkar in the film’s Hindi version, which was met with huge success throughout North India.

The latest buzz is that Sharad Kelkar is going to provide voice for Prabhas once again in the upcoming film Adipurush, which is directed by Om Raut, who also directed Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, where Sharad Kelkar played the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

Conclusion

Kelkar is quite excited to be the voice of Prabhas once again and expressed his pride to voice Shri Ram on the big screen, along with his equation with Om Raut. While the teaser of Adipurush has been brutalized left, right, and centre, for many reasons apart from its horrid VFX, the actors and directors continue to be unfazed as they seem to have confidence in their project.
