$600 Million Astonishing First Week Collection By Avatar: The Way Of Water

We were just waiting for Avatar: The Way of Water to release and it goes without saying that success was inevitable. Echoing the same is the box office collection for the movie A week in and Avatar: The Way of Water already did an impeccable business of $600 Million, which includes a total of $183 million domestic business and $426.8 million overseas business.

So far so good and intriguing that the movie secured the second biggest business by the first Wednesday of the movie release with a $14.3 million total and just a little behind Top Gun: Maverick which successfully did a business of $14.8 million by this time.

But nothing to take away from this sci-fi that the audience waited for more than a decade and James Cameron’s return to Pandora just justified the wait and delivered well on the money.

The overseas business and madness for Avatar: The Way of Water

This whooping business of $600 Million in a Week and the holiday season coming in just promises the string of domestic and overseas business for this classic artwork. The movie barely seems to have a problem attracting the audience and the business across different countries will just validate the entire statement.

In China, in spite of having a terrifying fear of Covid, the movie made a business of $70.5 million. Moreover, we can see the same craze for the movie in France where the movie collected $37 million. Furthermore, Korea is not lacking in the love for Avatar: The Way of Water as the movie earned $32.1 million.

And not to forget that India and Germany too have given $26.5 million and $26.1 million respectively, business to the movie. This will not come as i surprise to us now when it was analyzed that Avatar: The Way of Water the return to Pandora is the fifth highest-grossing Hollywood film overseas in the year 2022. Just immediately behind Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

The Upcoming Scenario

If the audience who watched this movie is to be believed, the words won’t do justice to match the excellence of the movie, likewise, states the IMDb, with an impeccable rating of 8 out of 10. Setting the graphical and emotional levels equivalent to or sometimes surpassing the same, this 3h and 12 mins offered a ball of a time to its audience with a gripping yet easy-to-follow storyline.

People unabashedly called this movie just the best sequel that James Cameron can ever come up with. The crazy fan following and an increasing number of ticket buy make us believe that the movie might be immune to its approaching competition during this holiday season.

We will be seeing the release of Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, Babylon, and I Wanna Dance With Somebody. Unaware of the domination but in the heart of hearts all know the triumph of the return of Pandora.

Audience Review

One said, “The amount of detail put into each scene is breathtaking & provides a personal level of interpersonal relationship into the depth of life that is abundant on Pandora in every frame on scene. It was tough to watch at points if I’m being honest, especially when it was so accurate in the way that the military of humanity is so merciless when trying to achieve victory through any means necessary.”

Coming from another audience, “3D works – and is a must – for this visually stunning, immersive experience. The CGI animation is seamlessly integrated into breathtaking scale and precise details, and the creativity of the scenes with the other-worldly life forms of Pandora set against the advanced technologies of the human sky-people is simply mind-blowing, leaving you to wonder “how the hell did they do that?”

The Verdict

This movie can be seen as a beast and gives a huge fight to the other great releases of 2022, including Top Gun: Maverick, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Thor: Love and Thunder. So far so successful, let’s wait for the final collection numbers at the box office by Avatar: The Way of Water.
