Xiaomi’s latest teaser mocks Apple’s earlier ‘Crush’ iPad ad with the implication that the Civi 4 Pro smartphone will be soon coming to India.
The tagline for the teaser trailer on X is ‘Cinematic Vision,’ where the letters ‘Ci’ and ‘Vi’ are underlined, meaning that the Civi series would make its premiere in India.
Apple’s ‘Crush’ ad for the new iPad Pro drew fire for depicting the loss of creativity. Samsung also mocked the ad while promoting its Galaxy Tab S9 series.
Similarly, Xiaomi’s teaser seems to be a response to Apple’s controversial advertisement, but it focuses on a smartphone launch rather than a tablet.
