It appears the Vivo X Fold 6 is soon expected to make its way to international markets, after continuing as a China-only model for the past few months. The global version of the Vivo foldable smartphone has now appeared on Geekbench, suggesting that Vivo may be in the final stages of testing it before the global launch. Here’s everything we know for now.
Vivo X Fold 6 Appears on Geekbench
Vivo’s new-generation foldable, Vivo X Fold 6, has now been found on Geekbench 7 carrying model number V2559. The benchmark listing gives us an early idea of the phone’s performance along with details about its RAM and software.
According to Geekbench screenshots shared by tipster Anvin @ZionsAnvin on X, the Vivo X Fold 6 managed 1,710 points in the single-core test and 5,977 points in the multi-core test. The device is listed with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset, which carries the MT6993 model number and is paired with 12GB of RAM.
One of the more interesting details is the software version. The Geekbench listing shows Android 17, which could make the global X Fold 6 one of the first Vivo smartphones to launch with the latest Android version. In comparison, the Chinese version of the foldable was launched with OriginOS 6 Fold based on Android 16.

This same international version of the Vivo X Fold 6 has also been spotted on certification platforms including Indonesia’s SDPPI, Malaysia’s SIRIM, Thailand’s NBTC and India’s BIS.
Vivo X Fold 6 – Key Specifications
The global version of Vivo X Fold 6 is largely expected to be similar to the model launched in China earlier this year. It comes with an 8.02-inch LTPO AMOLED foldable inner screen offering a 2504 × 2312-pixel resolution. On the outside, there is a 6.51-inch LTPO AMOLED cover display with a 2528 × 1120-pixel resolution. Both screens support a 120Hz refresh rate and can reach up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness.
For performance, the X Fold 6 uses the Dimensity 9500 Super Edition chipset. It is offered with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
For photography, the foldable features a 200-megapixel main camera on the back along with a 50-megapixel ZEISS APO periscope telephoto camera and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera. Both the inner and outer displays have 20-megapixel selfie cameras.
The phone is powered by a 7,000mAh battery and supports 80W wired charging as well as 40W wireless charging. It also carries IP58 and IP59 ratings for dust and water resistance.
Vivo X Fold 6 Global Launch Timeline
Vivo appears to be preparing for several launches across different markets. The brand is currently expected to focus on the X500 series, which is scheduled to debut in China on September 21. There is also the Vivo V80 Series expected to hit the international market soon.
As a result, the X Fold 6 could be pushed to an October launch for international markets. Notably, Vivo has not yet confirmed an official global launch date for the foldable.
