Sources revealed some key details about the phones such as the MediaTek Dimensity chipset and a unique colour-changing back panel similar to previous generation models.

The vanilla Vivo V27 is said to be the first smartphone in India to come with the new MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC.

The Vivo V27 price in India will be around Rs 35,000, probably for the base model, while the Vivo V27 Pro would be in the range of Rs 40,000, as per the sources.
Vivo V27 Series Specifications
As said, the base Vivo V27 is said to be the first phone in the country to ship with the MediaTek Dimensity 7200, while the Vivo V27 Pro would come with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset.
The upcoming Vivo V27 was recently spotted on the Geekbench benchmark database.
The Vivo V27 series is tipped to feature a 50MP camera including a Sony IMX766 sensor and Aura Light Portrait System.
The leaked poster also hints that the V27 series will feature dual OIS + EIS stabilization.
The upcoming Vivo V27 series smartphones will support 66W fast charging.
The Vivo V27 and V27 Pro will come in two storage variants- 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB.
The phones are expected to come in two colours: Black and a colour-changing Blue variant.
Vivo V27 5G Specifications and Features After Geekbench Listing
Ahead of the launch, the V27 5G has visited the Geekbench website with the model number V2246.
As per the Geekbench listing, the phone has an unannounced SoC codenamed MT6886V. At the moment, the official moniker of the SoC is unknown. The listing reveals that the SoC has eight cores, two of which have a peak clock speed of 2.8GHz.
The other six cores have a peak clock speed of 2.0GHz. It also has a Mali-G610 MC4 GPU, which suggests that the V27 5G will come with a MediaTek SoC.
The phone has been listed on Geekbench with 12GB of RAM.
It will run Android 13 out of the box.
The phone’s global variant will have a layer of Funtouch OS 13 on top of Android. The listing also revealed that the V27 5G has scored 845 and 2217 in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests.
The phone is rumoured to have some features and hardware shared with the vivo S16 5G which was launched sometime back in China.
However, the S16 5G in China has a Snapdragon 870 SoC. Therefore, it is unlikely that the global variant will pack the same specs as the S16 5G from China.
The V27 5G could sport a curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a triple-camera setup, etc. We will share more details about the phone as and when available.

The new Vivo V27 and V27 Pro will be sold via Flipkart, the Vivo e-commerce platform and offline stores when launched when a month.
