Brief Summary

Whenever a big tech giant is set to come out with a new device, the whole world sits up and takes notice and 2022 has been one of the best when it comes to electronic gadgets and devices from everyone whether it is Apple, Samsung, OPPO, Sony, Xiaomi, and many others.

Samsung Galaxy Ultra smartphones have been well received in the past but it seems that the company is in no mood of stopping, not this year at least, as it has just launched its new air purifiers in India that are IoT enabled, which means they can work via internet connection as well.

While air purifiers are quite underrated when compared to smartphones, laptops, smartwatches, etc. it doesn’t mean that they should be sidelined especially when they are equipped with key features and specifics.

The two air purifiers are Samsung AX46 and AX32 that are both IoT enabled models that are supported by Samsung’s SmartThings App, while the price is also quite affordable for many people that are not willing to spend a fortune for new devices.

Features & Specifications

You first need to download the SmartThings App on your smartphone to use the air purifiers so that you can check various functions like air quality, switching off/on, and other things through the app and maintain them as well.

Samsung AX46 comes with a Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) that is 467 cubic meters (SI) per hour while it can cover an area of 645sqft while the air quality is available on the Numeric Air Easy View Display, along with a four colour level indicator with 10 dust and gas sensors.

The problem of dust particles continues to persist even after regular cleansing of purifiers, which is why AX46 comes with a washable pre-filter for the larger dust particles that become a nuisance over a period of time and are much more difficult to clean up.

For gases substance of harmful nature, there is the Activated Carbon Deodorization filter, along with particular matter (PM) of 2.5 filter that removes almost 99.99% dust particles. To save the trouble of picking it up, the air purifier is equipped with hidden wheels through which it becomes easy to drag it.

Samsung AX32 comes with a CADR of 320 cubic meters per hour, along with a 356sqft coverage area and weighs 6.9kg. Like AX46, it also comes with a washable pre-filter, Activated Carbon Deodorization Filter, and a Zinc Oxide Dust Collecting filter.
