Xiaomi has officially unveiled the Redmi Pad Pro, a new affordable tablet that packs a punch.
While sticking to the Redmi brand’s budget-friendly ethos, this tablet is far from average.
The Redmi Pad Pro starts at CNY 1,499 (approx. Rs. 18,000) for the 6GB/128GB variant and goes up to CNY 1,799 (approx. Rs. 21,600) for the 8GB/256GB model.
The exclusive Harry Potter edition (8GB/256GB) is priced at CNY 2,999 (approx. Rs. 36,000).
Open sales in China are scheduled for April 15.
The Redmi Pad Pro comes in grey, green, and blue color options, as well as an exclusive Harry Potter edition.
The Harry Potter variant includes a stylus pen, a leather cover, and additional Harry Potter-themed merchandise.
The tablet runs HyperOS based on Android 14 out of the box.
It supports continuity features with HyperOS phones and Xiaomi PCs, allowing users to mirror their phone’s screen, share files and mobile data connectivity, and use the tablet’s display as a secondary screen wirelessly connected to compatible Xiaomi PCs.
Under the hood, the Redmi Pad Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 processor, paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage.
It features an 8MP ultrawide lens on the front and an 8MP wide lens on the back for capturing photos and videos.
The tablet’s hardware is fueled by a 10,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging, ensuring a quick top-up from 0% to 100%.
On the front, the Redmi Pad Pro boasts a 12.1-inch LCD screen with a 2.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate for an immersive viewing experience.
