Xiaomi has announced a price hike for its popular Redmi Note 15 Pro series in India. The revised prices have come into effect from May 1, 2026 impacting both the Pro and Pro+ variants across multiple storage options.
The latest price hike ranges from ₹1,000 to ₹2,000 depending on the variant. The Pro+ models have received relatively smaller increases on higher-end configurations, while the Pro variants have seen a consistent ₹2,000 hike. Here are more details.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ has received a price increase across all its variants. The base 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model is now priced at ₹39,999 up from ₹37,999.
The 12GB + 256GB variant has also become more expensive with the price rising from ₹39,999 to ₹41,999. Meanwhile, the top-end 12GB + 512GB model now costs ₹44,999 compared to its earlier price of ₹43,999.
The standard Redmi Note 15 Pro has also seen a similar price revision. The 8GB + 128GB variant now costs ₹31,999 up from ₹29,999.
The 8GB + 256GB model has increased from ₹31,999 to ₹33,999 reflecting a ₹2,000 hike.
While Xiaomi has not officially shared the reason for this price revision. However, current smartphone price hikes are usually linked to increasing component costs, supply chain challenges and currency fluctuations. Rising production expenses across the smartphone ecosystem could also be a contributing factor.
The new pricing is effective from May 1, 2026, which means customers purchasing the devices from now onwards will have to pay the updated rates.
