Redmi K60 Series Ready for Launch on December 27

After a long wait, the date has finally come out as the Redmi K60 series of smartphones are going to be launched in China on December 27, 2022, which was clarified by Redmi itself some time back, which has left users excited as they finally have a specific date to look forward to.

The Redmi K60 Series consists of three models- Redmi K60, Redmi K60 Pro, and Redmi K60E, which will prove to be a spiritual successor to the Redmi K50 lineup where users can avail some excellent upgrades like wireless charging.

There have been several leaked pictures and poster images of the smartphone models that reveal the Redmi K60 will come with triple cameras on the back with optical image stabilization (OIS), which includes a back panel inspired by carbon-fibre and a telephoto sensor.

You also see the IR blaster in the poster image while the speaker grille is at the top and at the back panel you see the Redmi branding in its full glory, which implies that further details on the upcoming series will be revealed as the company has teased on its features for long.

There are strong rumours that the Redmi K60 series might be rebranded as POCO models, although nothing has been confirmed by the makers on whether it is true or just another fake rumour.

Redmi K60 Series Expected Specifications

Redmi K60 series might come with a 6.67-inch display with a QHD+ resolution, along with a 120Hz refresh rate while the selfie snapper in the front has a punch-hole cutout and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC paired with Adreno GPU for graphics, with a storage variant of up to 12GB RAM + 256GB storage.

Redmi K60 Pro might come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 SoC, while Redmi K60E could be powered by the MediaTek chipset although the real details of the SoC are unknown at the moment, which is speculated to be MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC.

Redmi K60 may come with a battery capacity of 5,500mAh units that comes with a 67W fast charging support along with a 30W wireless charging support, while the optical features include a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor, while the 16MP snapper at the front is for taking selfies.
