The phone packs a decent 6.67-inch 120Hz Eye Comfort Display, MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G 6nm chipset, a solid 5000mAh battery, 32MP AI Camera and more.
Available in 4GB/ 6GB/ 8GB RAM variants, the Realme C63 5G comes with 128 GB of internal storage in all variants.

As for colours, there are two colour options – Starry Gold and Forest Green.
Realme C63 will be available on realme.com and Flipkart
Realme C63 5G throws in an interesting back panel finish that defines the entire look of the phone.
The device is available in two colours, Starry Gold and Forest Green.
For this review, we had the Starry Gold variant and we loved the little shiny reflective colour tone with a smooth texture.
The Starry Gold design is coated with the Magnetron line.
The magnetron-sputtered high-reflection film provides texture brightness and a metallic texture.
This reflects to give a unique light effect with light.
You also don’t need to fret about fingerprints or smudges as the back panel is built to be resistant to both.
The square camera module with curved corners in the top centre of the back is neat.
There is a stainless steel frame around the camera module giving it a premium look.
The metal frame of the phone supports the structure well and looks good at the same time.
The phone is quite lightweight and the boxy frame makes it easy to hold.
It can be easily handled in one hand.
The volume rockers and the power button can be found on the standard right-hand side.
The SIM tray and IR blaster are on the top, while a single set of speakers with a charging port and a 3.5mm headphone jack is located at the bottom.
The display is decent but doesn’t do much for the overall look of the phone.
The build quality of Realme C63 is solid too.
It comes with an IP64 water and dust resistance.
This promises to effectively block dust and protect against low-pressure liquid splashes from any direction.
The Realme C63 5G features a decent 6.67-inch display that has 1604×720 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
It is a perfect display for all your everyday viewing experiences.
The display is vibrant with 16.7 million colours and offers a typical brightness of 500 nits, which can peak at 625 nits, ensuring good visibility even in bright sunlight.
Whether you’re indoors or outdoors, the Realme C63 5G’s display makes your content look great.
It offers sharpness, smoothness, and colour accuracy enough for an overall enjoyable viewing experience.
There is also an Eye Comfort feature in Realme C63 5G.
You can adjust colour temperature and display effects from the settings.
Effect settings provide options to “protect your eyes while retaining the original colours” and reduce in “intensity of bright colours.”
One of its standout features is the 120Hz refresh rate, which is rare in this segment.
This high refresh rate makes everything on the screen feel incredibly smooth, whether you’re scrolling through social media, watching videos, or playing games.
It also supports four levels of dynamic refresh rates — 50Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz — allowing the display to adjust based on the content, which helps conserve battery life while still delivering fluid visuals.
The Realme C63 5G delivers impressive processing power for the segment, thanks to the very reliable MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chipset.
Built on a 6nm process technology, the chipset not only provides robust performance but also ensures energy efficiency, which helps in extending battery life.
This octa-core processor features two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz for handling heavy tasks and six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz for efficiency, making it a well-balanced performer.
The ARM G57 MC2 GPU ensures smooth graphics and responsive gameplay.
So, you can expect a good performance from the phone if you’re multitasking, streaming, or even light gaming.
Overall, our experience with the phone is smooth and lag-free.
The Realme C63 5G’s processing power makes it well-suited for both everyday tasks and even demanding applications to a great extent.
The device offers multiple RAM options – 4 GB, 6 GB, and 8 GB.
These are paired with 128GB of internal storage.
The internal storage can be further expanded up to 2TB via external memory.
The LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage enhances the phone’s speed and responsiveness to a good extent.
The app launches and data access gets quicker with increased RAM and ROM combination.
The Realme C63 5G runs on Realme UI 5.0, built on top of Android 14.
So, you can expect a modern and intuitive software experience.
The interface is smooth and user-friendly, with a focus on customization and convenience.
One of the standout features is the Mini Capsule 2.0, which has received significant upgrades in animation design and interactive functionality. It is fluid and engaging to use.
Overall, the software on the Realme C63 5G is polished and packed with features, making it a strong contender in its segment.
Bloatware remains an issue with Realme.
We understand why budget brands such as Realme need these pre-installed apps but the trust is, they are annoying.
Yes, you can uninstall most of them and customise your home screen but one of the major issues we faced when we switched on the device for the first time and connected it to a network was how all the pre-installed apps started updating together.
And then it can be quite tedious to clear everything out.
So, be prepared to spend a good chunk of your initial setup time on this task.
Realme has committed to providing three years of security updates and two years of software updates, ensuring that the device remains secure and up-to-date with the latest features.
This level of support adds value to the device, making it a reliable choice for users who want a smartphone that will stay current over time.
Driven by a good combination of hardware and software, the Realme C63 5G offers a good overall performance.
The device is built to handle multitasking and demanding applications.
The integration of the AI Boost Engine takes performance to another level.
It intelligently optimises resource allocation based on the urgency of tasks.
You can easily expect the apps and games to run smoothly without hiccups.
It provides a rather seamless user experience even under heavy everyday usage.
Realme has gone the extra mile by securing the TÜV SÜD 48-month Fluency Certificate for C63 5G.
This certification is for the phone’s long-term reliability, ensuring that it will continue to deliver a fluid and responsive experience over time.
So, this guarantees that the Realme C63 5G will maintain its smooth performance for at least four years.
All-in-all, whether you’re a power user or someone who enjoys casual browsing, the Realme C63 5G’s performance is capable of meeting your requirements.
Flagship-level Experiences
We tested the phone on multiple benchmarking standards.
It managed to achieve a robust score in most tests with an AnTuTu benchmark score of over 400K+.
Battery tests ensured exceptionally low power consumption, which is always a plus.
Here are all benchmark scores for reference.
32-megapixel AI Main Camera
8-megapixel Front Camera
The camera performance of the Realme C63 is decent.
The 32-megapixel main camera with an aperture of f/1.85 and a 5P lens has some advantages.
It produces sharp and clear images.
Colour saturation is close to natural.
The results are better in proper light conditions as the camera system is designed to intake natural light.
You can easily notice AI doing its work though with changing tones or textures in images to make them more refined.
The main comes with a field of view of 76°, which enables you to cover more view into the frame.
To facilitate your photography requirements and unlock the real potential of the lens, the main camera comes with various modes such as Photo, Video, Night, Street, Pro, Pano, Portrait, Time-lapse, Slo-Mo, Texts scanner, Tilt-shift, and Movie-dual video.
We are a bit disappointed with the front camera configuration.
The 8MP Selfie Camera with AI beauty feature does a sub-par job.
Although it is a budget segment, there are many competing smartphone models in the market with better front camera specifications and performance.
For Videos, the camera performance is decent.
Apart from the default 720P at 30fps, you also have the flexibility to choose 1080P at 30fps for video recordings.
It provides a well-balanced video capture tailored to specific user requirements.
The Realme C63 5G’s battery is designed to keep up with your busy day.
It comes with a massive 5000mAh battery that supports 10W Quick Charge.
This means you can get a decent amount of charge in a short time.
However, we tried to test the charging capabilities and it took a bit longer than expected—about two hours—to get the battery from under 10 per charge to 80% charged.
Once fully charged, the battery easily lasts all day, giving you up to 40.1 hours of calling, 17.3 hours of video watching, and 90.1 hours of music playback.
It even offers 29 days of standby time, so you don’t have to worry about frequent charging.
We also performed the battery life test.
Below are some of the test graphs that can help understand the battery strength.
For those moments when you’re running low on battery, the Ultra Saving Mode comes in handy.
It smartly reduces power consumption by tweaking the CPU, backlight, and other settings, ensuring you can squeeze out those extra hours when you need them most.
The Realme C63 5G supports dual SA (Standalone) modes, ensuring that users can access the latest 5G networks for faster speeds and better reliability.
The phone is compatible with a wide range of 5G bands, including NR_SA bands like n1, n3, n5, and others, as well as NSA (Non-Standalone) bands.
In addition to its 5G capabilities, the Realme C63 5G also supports both Wi-Fi 5 and Wi-Fi 4, offering dual-band Wi-Fi at 2.4GHz and 5GHz for faster and more stable internet connections.
Bluetooth connectivity is also robust, ensuring smooth wireless connections for your devices.
Overall, it provides a comprehensive connectivity package.
It is a well-equipped device for modern wireless communication needs.
If we compare Realme C63 5G to its predecessor, which could be taken as Realme C63 4G version or Realme C53.
In both cases, a comparison with this recently launched C series phone will be more or less disappointing.
The main improvement with the Realme C63 5G is its 5G capability and the processor upgrade.
Other than this every other feature has been downgraded in C63 5G.
Arguments can be made that this feature cut-down allows Realme to be aggressive with the pricing and disrupt the entry-level budget smartphone segment.
Here is a comparison to understand the new variant positioning.

It offers decent features and reliable performance at an affordable price.
Some of the features might not be at par with the other competitive smartphones already successful in the segment such as the mediocre camera setup.
But this completely depends on individual choice.
For someone who isn’t a complete photography enthusiast, the Realme C63 5G camera with its features and specifications can prove to be good enough.
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chipset and up to 8GB + 8GB Dynamic RAM, it ensures smooth multitasking and gaming.
The 6.67-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate provides a vibrant and fluid visual experience.
Realme UI 5.0, based on Android 14, enhances the user experience with intuitive features, and the TÜV SÜD 48-month Fluency Certificate guarantees long-term performance.
