Oppo has officially launched the Oppo K14 5G in India. The smartphone is the second model in the K14 series. It was initially expected to debut on March 9 but faced a delay before finally arriving in the market. As of now, it will be available for purchase via online platforms and the company’s official website in multiple colour options. Here are more details.
The Oppo K14 5G starts at Rs 17,999 for the base variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 6GB RAM + 256GB storage model is priced at Rs 19,999, while the top-end variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage comes in at Rs 21,999.
As part of launch offers, the company is providing an instant discount of up to Rs 1,000 on purchases made using HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and SBI cards.
The smartphone will go on sale in India starting March 20 via Flipkart and the Oppo India online store.
It will be available in Icy Blue, Prism Violet, and Prism White colour options.
The Oppo K14 5G features a 6.75-inch display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,125 nits peak brightness, offering a smooth and bright viewing experience.
The handset is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. According to the company, the processor delivers up to 15 percent better performance while reducing cold start times for frequently used apps by up to 20 percent. It comes as a dual-SIM smartphone that runs on Android 15-based ColorOS 15.
In terms of durability, the phone comes with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, making it one of the more rugged options in its segment.
For photography, the Oppo K14 5G includes a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel AI primary sensor and a 2-megapixel monochrome lens. On the front, it features an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The device also supports several AI-powered features such as Dual-View video mode, AI Recompose, AI Perfect Shot, AI Eraser 2.0, and AI Clarity Enhancer.
The smartphone is equipped with a large 7,000mAh battery and supports 45W wired fast charging. Oppo claims the device can deliver up to 18.9 hours of YouTube video playback, up to 17.4 hours of Google Maps navigation, and up to 13 hours of WhatsApp video calls on a single charge.
With its focus on battery life, durability, and AI camera features, the Oppo K14 5G aims to strengthen its position in the competitive mid-range smartphone segment.
