Realme 16T 5G is set to launch in India on May 22, 2026 at 12 PM IST. Ahead of its official debut, the smartphone has now surfaced on the IMDA certification platform. The certification listing confirms the device’s arrival in another global market while also revealing some of its connectivity features. That’s not all, tipsters on X have also leaked key specs of the smartphone giving us an overall idea of what to expect. Here’s a look at everything we know so far.
Realme 16T 5G on IMDA database.
The upcoming Realme 16T 5G has appeared on Singapore’s IMDA certification database carrying the model number RMX5268. The listing officially confirms the smartphone’s branding and reveals support for connectivity features including 5G, WLAN, Bluetooth, and NFC.
While the IMDA certification does not disclose additional hardware specifications, it confirms that the smartphone will also launch in the Singapore market.
Realme had already revealed several key specifications of the device earlier through official microsites on the Realme India website and Flipkart.
The company has confirmed that the Realme 16T 5G will pack a massive 8000mAh battery along with support for 45W wired fast charging. The device will also support reverse wired charging and bypass charging features.
The smartphone is further confirmed to feature an 8.88mm slim profile despite housing the large battery. Realme has also promised seven years of battery health retention for the device.
In terms of design and colours, the Realme 16T 5G will be available in Starlight Red, Starlight Black, and Aurora Green colour options.
Apart from the officially confirmed details, tipster Abhishek Yadav had previously claimed that the smartphone would launch in India in three storage variants including 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage options. The same leak had also revealed the colour variants that were later officially confirmed by the company.
The Realme 16T 5G had also appeared earlier on Malaysia’s SIRIM certification platform confirming its launch in the Malaysian market.
Separately, tipster Sanju Choudhary @saaaanjjjuuu recently shared additional specifications of the smartphone on X. According to the leak, the device may feature a 6.8-inch flat OLED display and could be powered by the MediaTek MTK 6360 chipset. The smartphone is also tipped to come with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.
For photography, the Realme 16T 5G is expected to feature a 50-megapixel primary rear camera accompanied by a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The leak also hints at a mirror-style selfie camera setup.
The smartphone is further tipped to offer IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. The leaked details once again mention the 8000mAh battery and 45W charging support, while also confirming that the base variant could feature 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
