Motorola has officially launched the new Motorola Razr Fold in India as its latest premium foldable smartphone. As a first book-style foldable from the brand, it arrives with flagship-level specifications including Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, dual LTPO AMOLED displays, up to 165Hz refresh rate, 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery and a triple 50MP rear camera setup.
Razr Fold also focuses heavily on AI-powered features with Moto AI tools alongside Google Gemini integration. Here’s everything you need to know about the newly unveiled foldable.
The Motorola Razr Fold has been launched in three variants in India. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at ₹1,49,999. The 16GB RAM and 512GB storage model costs ₹1,59,999, while the special 16GB + 512GB FIFA Edition carries a price tag of ₹1,69,999.
Motorola is offering a flat ₹10,000 instant bank discount or a flat ₹10,000 exchange bonus on the device. Buyers can also avail no-cost EMI options for up to 18 months on select bank cards.
After including launch offers, the effective pricing drops to ₹1,39,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant, ₹1,49,999 for the 16GB + 512GB model and ₹1,59,999 for the FIFA Edition. Meanwhile, monthly EMI options start from ₹7,778 per month.
Customers purchasing the Motorola Razr Fold within the first month i.e. till June 20 will also receive one-time free screen replacement coverage valid for one year.

The Motorola Razr Fold features a 6.6-inch LTPO extreme AMOLED outer display with a 21:9 aspect ratio, 2520 x 1080 resolution and up to 165Hz refresh rate. The panel is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3 and supports up to 6,000 nits peak brightness. It also offers 10-bit colour depth, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, Pantone Validated colours, Always-On Display support, SGS low blue light certification, SGS low motion blur certification, Water Touch support, and 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage.
On the inside, the foldable smartphone packs a large 8.1-inch LTPO extreme AMOLED foldable display with a 2484 x 2232 pixel 2K resolution and 8:7.2 aspect ratio. The inner display supports a 120Hz refresh rate, Ultra Thin Glass protection, 6,200 nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, Pantone Validated colours, Always-On Display, Water Touch support and 10-bit colour depth.
Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Mobile Platform built on TSMC’s advanced 3nm N3P process. The octa-core CPU clocks up to 3.8GHz and is paired with the Qualcomm Adreno A829 GPU and Qualcomm AI Engine based on the Hexagon NPU. The smartphone comes in 12GB and 16GB LPDDR5X RAM options with RAM Boost support of up to an additional 12GB or 16GB virtual memory. Storage options include 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage variants.
The smartphone runs Android 16 and Motorola has promised seven years of Android OS upgrades and seven years of security updates.
For photography, the Motorola Razr Fold features a triple rear camera setup. The primary camera uses a 50MP Sony LYTIA 828 sensor with f/1.6 aperture, OIS support, 1/1.28-inch sensor size and Pantone Validated camera certification. The second camera is a 50MP ultrawide and macro shooter with f/2.0 aperture and 122.1-degree field of view. The third sensor is a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 periscope telephoto camera with OIS support and f/2.4 aperture.
The phone includes two front cameras that includes a 20MP selfie camera in closed mode and a 32MP front camera while the device is open. Camera-related features include Pantone SkinTone Validation, Dolby Vision video support, Ultra HDR, Adobe Scan integration and DXOMARK Gold Rating certification.
The Motorola Razr Fold packs a 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery that claims to deliver more than 43 hours of usage on a single charge. It supports 80W wired fast charging, which can charge the device from 0 to 30 percent in around 10 minutes and fully charge it in approximately 60 minutes. The smartphone also supports 50W wireless charging and 5W reverse charging.
Connectivity and security features include dual SIM 5G support, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, Bose-tuned audio, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, face unlock support and a dedicated AI Key.
The device also comes loaded with Moto Actions such as Quick Capture, Fast Flashlight, Flip for DND, Pick Up to Silence, Three Finger Screenshot, Attentive Display, Lift to Unlock, Quick Launch TapTap gestures, and more.
Moto AI features include Catch Me Up, Pay Attention, Remember This, Recall, Show This on That, Image Studio, Playlist Studio, and Next Move. The smartphone also supports Google Gemini voice controls.
In terms of dimensions, the Motorola Razr Fold measures 160.05 × 73.6 × 9.89mm when folded and 144.47 × 160.05 × 4.55mm when unfolded. The device weighs 243 grams and comes with both IP48 and IP49 ratings for water and dust resistance.
