Realme has marked its return to the Pakistani market with the introduction of two new smartphones: the Realme 12+ and the Realme 12 4G.
While the Realme 12+ is consistent with its global variant, the Realme 12 4G is a new offering specifically tailored for the Pakistani market.
The Realme 12 4G is positioned as a compelling option for Pakistani consumers seeking a feature-rich 4G device.
It is priced starting at PKR 60,000 ($215) for the 8GB/128GB variant.
The phone is available in two color options: Blue and Green. For this wondering, the device has already been announced in India.
The Realme 12 4G comes with the Snapdragon 685 – a 4G chipset that is built on a 6nm process.
It packs the 6.67-inch OLED display, which comes with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, 2,400 x 1,080 pixels resolution, and 2,000 nits peak brightness.
Probably one of the device’s top features is that it had an under-display fingerprint scanner, something relatively not common in this price range for a 4G phone.
The main camera is equipped with a 50 MP Sony LYT-600 sensor, featuring optical image stabilization and video capture at 1080p at 30 fps.
On the rear, this is accompanied by a 2 MP depth sensor, while at the front, it features a 16 MP front camera.
The phone comes with 8 GB of RAM and internal storage of either 128 GB or 256 GB.
It has a dedicated microSD card slot and still bears the 3.5mm headphone jack.
It is powered by a 5 000 mAh battery supporting 67W fast charging, but ships with an 80W charger.
The Realme 12 4G brings several significant upgrades over the Realme 11 4G, making it a more appealing choice for users.
The most notable enhancement is the display, which has transitioned from an IPS LCD to a 6.67-inch OLED with a 120Hz refresh rate, providing better colors and smoother visuals.
Additionally, the Realme 12 4G is powered by the newer Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 chipset, offering improved performance and efficiency over the Helio G99 found in the Realme 11 4G.
The camera setup also sees an upgrade with a 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor featuring OIS, enhancing photo quality and stability.
Furthermore, the Realme 12 4G includes an under-display fingerprint scanner, a feature not present in its predecessor, adding a modern touch to the security options.
The device also supports 67W fast charging, up from the 45W in the Realme 11 4G.
