Xiaomi is reportedly preparing to expand its T-series lineup with the launch of upcoming Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro. Both models were recently spotted on Thailand’s NBTC certification platform hinting at an imminent global launch. And now, a fresh leak reveal key processor details of the upcoming Xiaomi 17T Series. Here’s more on that.
According to the latest leak on X by user @Saurav_DJ47, the Xiaomi 17T series has been spotted on an official website suggesting that the launch could take place as early as this month. The X post also reveals the expected processors powering both devices and a possible render.
The Xiaomi 17T Pro is tipped to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset paired with a high refresh rate 165Hz display. If true, this would main the device has a strong focus on performance and smooth visuals.
On the other hand, the standard Xiaomi 17T is expected to come with the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 processor aim for a more balanced performance for everyday usage.
Earlier certification details from the FCC suggest that the Xiaomi 17T could pack a large 6,360mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging.
The smartphone is also expected to arrive in multiple storage configurations including options with 12GB RAM paired with 256GB and 512GB internal storage.
In terms of connectivity, the device is likely to support modern standards such as 5G NR, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC and Bluetooth.
Camera specifications of the Xiaomi 17T have reportedly surfaced through the HyperOS codebase. The phone is expected to feature a triple rear camera system including a 50-megapixel OmniVision OVX8000 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5D telephoto lens and a 13-megapixel OmniVision OV13B ultra-wide camera.
While these leaks give a good idea of what to expect, Xiaomi has not officially confirmed the launch timeline or pricing of the Xiaomi 17T series yet.
