POCO has launched its new F5 series in India and Europe. The new POCO F-series flagship lineup features two premium devices.

There is the F5 Pro 5G sits at the top of the lineup, below which is the baseline F5 5G. The POCO F5 Pro is currently not coming to India.

POCO has, meanwhile, launched the vanilla F5 5G in the world’s second-largest smartphone market.

The new POCO flagship series phones feature Snapdragon processors.
They also sport the same display size, have the same number of camera sensors and run the latest software.
POCO has also revealed that F5 5G customers in India will get an additional year of warranty on the purchase of the phone.

The POCO F5 5G has been launched in India with two storage configurations. Both variants offer 256GB of storage as standard. The base model packs 8GB of RAM and is priced at Rs 29,999. There is a 12GB RAM variant of the phone as well, which is priced at Rs 33,999.

The F5 5G has been launched in three colours — Electric Blue, Snowstorm White and Carbon Black colour options.

As part of the launch offers, customers with an ICICI Bank card can get a discount of Rs 3,000 on the 8GB RAM variant for Rs 26,999, whereas the 12GB RAM option can be bought for Rs 30,999.
On top of this, customers who exchange their old POCO smartphone will get an additional Rs 1,000 discount on the purchase of the F5 5G via Flipkart.

The F5 Pro, on the other hand, has been launched with 8GB + 128GB, 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB storage options. The base model with 8GB of RAM is priced at $449 (roughly Rs 36,900), whereas the 12GB RAM + 256GB option is priced at $499 (roughly Rs 41,000). The top-end 12GB + 512GB variant, lastly, is priced at $549 (roughly Rs 45,100).

The phone is available in Black and White colour options.

As part of the early-bird offer, the 8GB RAM variant can be bought for $429 (roughly Rs 35,200), whereas the 12GB + 256GB variant will be available for $449 (roughly Rs 36,900). The 12GB + 512GB variant will be available for $499 (roughly Rs 41,000).

In terms of specifications, the POCO F5 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC based on a 4nm processor.

It packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging. There is a triple-camera setup on the back.

The phone features a 64MP main camera with support for optical image stabilisation (OIS), an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro sensor.
For selfies, the phone has a 16MP front camera. On the front, there a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

We have learnt from sources about the launch of the C53 in India. The new Realme smartphone will sit below the C55 in India. However, Realme is yet to confirm the launch details of the C53 at the time of writing this.

Meanwhile, Industry Sources come up with a poster of the Realme C53, which hints at the design of the upcoming smartphone. Citing a close source, the report also mentioned that it might be Realme’s one of the most affordable smartphones.

On the other hand, tipster Naveen Tech Wala has revealed some key specifications and mentioned that the smartphone is launching soon in India.

An official image of the C53 shared by our retail sources confirms the design of the upcoming Realme smartphone. The C53 will have a flat frame design. The power and volume buttons are located on the right edge. It looks like the power button will double up as a fingerprint scanner.

At the bottom edge lies the USB Type-C port, next to which is the primary speaker grille. The phone sports a hole-punch cutout at the top centre of the display. Based on the image, it looks like the C53 will have relatively thin bezels around the display.

The Cyan coloured-rear panel has two circular cutouts. Each of the cutouts will house a camera sensor. The dual-camera setup will be accompanied by an LED flash module.

Our sources also revealed that the phone will launch with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. However, there is no word on whether the phone will be launched in India with more storage options.

The C53 was spotted recently on the NBTC certification website. It revealed that the device packs a 5000mAh battery and offers 33W fast charging support. We can also expect the phone to run Android 13 out of the box and have a layer of Realme UI 4.0 on top.

The model has been seen on various certification platforms such as the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), Indonesia’s Tingkat Komponen Dalam Negeri (TKDN), Europe’s Energy efficiency certificates (EEC), and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

The presence of certifications suggests that a launch is forthcoming. However, we must wait for the company to come up with an official confirmation.

After announcing the launch of Acer Air Conditioners and Washing Machines last month, Indkal technologies finally announced the release of the products in the market from 4th of May.

With the summer season in full swing and considerable interest, Acer Large Appliances will be made available for sale across channels the company announced.

“We expect strong May season sales as we are offering some amazing, limited launch offers to our customers with discounts ranging from 30%-40% on the usual prices,” said Anand Dubey, CEO Indkal Technologies on the products going live.

The range of Acer Air Conditioners is available across two series: Quad and Halo.
