0

Telecom major Airtel today announced the launch of its latest innovation Airtel Black, which claims to be India’s first all-in-one solution for homes.

In today’s world, the customer’s home has become the single place for both work life and personal life. The need for high-speed data, the need for entertainment at home and the need for seamless connectivity on mobile, is now one holistic need.

“Yet these services have historically been bought and managed, as individual services. Customers have expressed their frustration on multiple bills to be paid on different due dates across the months, services getting switched off due to forgotten recharges, and difficulty in managing services from multiple local service providers. We decided to innovate to solve this customer problem,” said Airtel in a statement.

Airtel Black is the new program for the discerning, quality-seeking customers. A customer can bundle 2 or more of Airtel services (Fiber, DTH, Mobile) together to become Airtel Black – which entitles the customer for one single bill, one Customer Care number with a dedicated team of relationship managers, and priority resolution of faults and issues. All of this, also comes with amazing value of zero-switching and installation costs coupled with free service visits for life.

Airtel Black elevates the customer experience with a host of industry-first features:

Simplify your life: Airtel Black is super convenient and liberates customers from the hassle of managing multiple bill payment dates, navigating customer care IVRs, or interacting with separate service providers.

Get the Priority you deserve: A customer will connect to a care representative within 60 seconds of calling. The team of experts managing the customer relationship keeps in touch for all your requirements and solves them on a priority basis. All service visits needed for your service come to you on priority, and free of charge.

No TV service disconnection: Airtel Black also helps customers enjoy uninterrupted TV viewing, due to DTH being offered as a billed service. All the user needs is to pay their one bill monthly.

Customise it to your needs: Airtel Black offers a simple feature where users have full choice of selecting their suitable plans for each service, and then bundle them together for billing.

Shashwat Sharma, Director – Marketing and Communications, Bharti Airtel, said, “Airtel Black is another step in our obsession for solving our customer problems at Airtel. This squarely addresses the need for convenience and peace of mind for our customers, as they navigate their lives in the new normal. As an integrated operator, Airtel is uniquely positioned to deliver an exceptional experience on all home services –Fiber, DTH and Mobile, to our customers. And Airtel Black is focussed on doing just that.”

Oppo partners Innoviti on BEAM to help SMB mobile dealers earn extra margins on every EMI transaction

0

Smartphone brand Oppo has partnered Innoviti Payment Solutions on (Brand EMI Acceleration Mission), to help SMB mobile dealers earn extra margins on sale of branded products on zero-cost EMI using G.E.N.I.E, Innoviti’s smart marketing platform. With this partnership, these margins can now be earned by SMBs on every Oppo branded product.

The lockdown of offline stores due to the COVID-19 pandemic has affected SMB businesses more than others. Sustained lockdown has led to consumers shifting to online purchases, accelerating the SMB mobile business decline. G.E.N.I.E, launched earlier this year by Innoviti, has been empowering SMB mobile dealers to pull back customers with the help of attractive cashbacks on 110+ banks, zero-cost EMIs schemes on 60+ branded and unbranded products, and BEAM, a tool to earn extra margins on sale of branded products

BEAM enables mainline mobile dealers to get sponsored by leading mobile brands on Innoviti’s GENIE smart marketing app. Under this partnership, the dealer who gets sponsored by Oppo can earn an extra 1% margin on every Oppo branded product they sell on EMI on G.E.N.I.E. This not only helps dealers earn extra margins, it also builds a stronger relationship between the dealer and the brand. BEAM also enables the dealers to earn an extra 0.5% margin on other mobile brands sold on zero-cost EMI.

“Mainline mobile dealers provide the touch, feel and trust to consumers when they are selecting their electronic products. They educate them, guide them.  However, the pandemic has affected them more than enterprise merchants and online. Since its launch, G.E.N.I.E has been empowering mainline mobile dealers to successfully win back the customers they lost to these channels through attractive features. We are excited about welcoming Oppo to our BEAM program. Oppo is a leading brand sold by SMBs, extra margins on every OPPO branded product will help these SMBs earn more to grow more. We hope this will provide the fuel the SMBs need to bounce-back and thrive in their businesses,” Prasad Sonavane, Chief Revenue Office, Partnerships & Alliances.

“Oppo with its partnership with Innoviti GENIE’s BEAM programme will enable Oppo’s retail family earn extra margin on each Oppo phone sold. Offline channel has always been a focus for Oppo and this partnership with Innoviti is our effort to support our dealer teams during these unpredictable times and enable them to come out of this situation strongly,” said Oppo Mobiles.

Innoviti uses payment technology in unconventional ways to turn payment transactions into customer acquisition and retention tools for merchants, bank, and brands. Innoviti’s products bring these parties on to a common platform and helps them deliver unique customer experiences, such as this one. Each business gets access to 3X loyal consumers at 1/3rd the cost, accelerating sales with unmatched efficiencies.

STL launches 5G, WiFi6-ready, cloud-native software portfolio to enable telco’s shift to XaaS models

0

STL, an industry-leading integrator of digital networks, has launched an all-new Network Software portfolio – NSW 2.0. This new generation of software solution offers a multi-tenant, cloud-native, microservices-based architecture and hyper-scaler certified approach that will enable telcos to leapfrog towards the Everything-as-a-Service (XaaS) economy.

The telecom industry is at an inflection point and witnessing a fundamental shift to flexible consumption and pay-as-you-go models. There is also a need to unlock new revenue streams and scale infrastructures and adopt agile business models. A report from TM Forum suggests that around 72% of 5G revenue growth depends on the transformation of OSS/BSS. But the shift to the more flexible XaaS model is constrained by data security, integration complexity and costs. STL’s NSW 2.0 portfolio enables Communications Service Providers (CSPs) to capitalise on the rapid evolution of open architectures, 5G, WiFi 6, cloud models and platforms.

With this next-gen portfolio now in place, CSPs can gain the ability to scale with reduced CapEx and faster time-to-market. It will also accelerate their transition to open and cloud-native platforms and make the digital renaissance simpler and faster. This innovation is enabled by STL’s deep telco tribal knowledge both in software development capability and mission-critical deployments. STL’s NSW2.0 portfolio supports multi-vendor plug-and-play components using a standardised TM-Forum compliant API suite. This comprises Digital+, API-first, Cloud-Native and Pro-Edge to help digital service providers monetise 5G, WiFi 6, platformification, along with seamless Business As Usual functions.

Saikat Mitra, COO – Network Software, said, “For communication and digital service providers, we have designed everything stack for Anything-as-a-Service (XaaS) economy with our new STL NSW 2.0 portfolio. With this portfolio, I am confident that CSPs would be able to leverage our enhanced portfolio that is using state-of-the-art technology and architecture. Accelerating 5G monetisation for CSPs requires an evolution of BSS/OSS, and we are already 5G ready.”
