The OPPO Reno 16 series appears to be inching closer to its global debut. After launching in China in May, the Reno 16 lineup has now surfaced on a European certification platform revealing key battery details for the global variants. At the same time, a new leak has shed light on the specifications and pricing of the upcoming OPPO Reno 16F 5G in Indonesia, alongside live images of the device.
OPPO Reno 16 Series Appears on European Certification Platform
According to a recent Gadgets360 report, three OPPO smartphones carrying model numbers CPH2865, CPH2863, and CPH2859 have been listed on the European Product Registry for Energy Labelling (EPREL) database.
While the certification does not explicitly mention the device names, previous appearances on BIS, Geekbench, and GCF certification websites indicate that these model numbers correspond to the OPPO Reno 16, OPPO Reno 16 Pro, and OPPO Reno 16F, respectively.

According to the listings, the OPPO Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro will feature batteries with rated capacities of 5,820mAh. Meanwhile, the Reno 16F is listed with a larger 6,325mAh battery. Since these are rated capacities, the marketed battery capacities could be slightly higher.

All three smartphones have received an Energy Class A rating and are also expected to feature IP68-rated dust and water resistance.
The certification further reveals battery endurance figures for each model. The standard Reno 16 is rated for 63 hours and 9 minutes of endurance per cycle, while the Reno 16 Pro is listed with 62 hours of battery endurance. The Reno 16F delivers the longest battery endurance among the trio, reaching up to 75 hours per cycle.
The listings also confirm that the smartphones will support USB Type-C charging.
Smaller Batteries Expected on Global Models
The certification details suggest that the global Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro variants could launch with noticeably smaller batteries compared to their Chinese counterparts.
For reference, the OPPO Reno 16 Pro launched in China with a 7,000mAh battery, while the standard Reno 16 features a 6,700mAh battery. Both smartphones support 80W wired fast charging.
The latest certification indicates that battery capacities may be reduced for international markets. Although, OPPO has not officially confirmed any specifications for the global models yet.
Multiple reports had already suggested that the global versions of the Reno 16 series could differ from their Chinese counterparts. Earlier this month, the OPPO Reno 16 Pro global variant was spotted on a benchmarking platform with a MediaTek Dimensity 8550 chipset replacing the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor found in the Chinese model.
